This has been my go-to place for fast Chinese takeout for 30 years. Just 2 months ago I bought their food for my 8 year olds bday that cost over $200. But tonight my wonton soup was broth and broccoli with one very under cooked wonton. I called the manager and told him how disappointed I was since that has never happened before and asked if something has changed. I was told nothing has changed and its all from the same pot and he can't pick what goes into each bowl. He asked me if I wanted to have a new soup made and come get it. So I drove back over there and waited quietly until it was my turn in line as not to make a fuss. When he brought me my new soup he told me to make sure it was what I wanted. I looked and saw it was not all broccoli and thanked him. He then banged his hand on the plastic shield in front of the register pointing out a sign and saying "special order no refund no exchange". I had to ask him to repeat it and again he banged his hand on it angry at me about it. I said its just wonton soup and he said that IS special order. WHAT?? I said sorry I didn't know and left. Not once did he apologize for my wonton soup being broccoli broth and if that is their policy why offer it on the phone and have me drive there? I'm done. My twice a month average visits there is over for my family of 10 and no more $200+ catered events because of an $8 bowl of soup. I can find a new fast Chinese food place that will be nice and apologetic when they make a mistake and appreciate my...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I recently moved to Hemet and we were thrilled to discover this amazing Chinese food spot. Let me start by saying that the food here is absolutely delicious! We are big fans of Chinese cuisine and this place exceeded our expectations.
The portions at this restaurant are impressively big, and what's even better is that the prices are very reasonable compared to other places. It's a great value for the quality and quantity of food you get. We were pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was.
One dish that we absolutely loved and highly recommend is the coconut shrimp. Normally, we don't order shrimp from Chinese restaurants, but this place knows how to cook it to perfection. The shrimp was juicy, flavorful, and had a delightful coconut coating. It's a must-try!
Overall, we cannot express enough how much we enjoyed dining at this Chinese food spot. The flavors of the dishes were on point and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable.
If you're in Hemet and craving some delicious Chinese food, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed! We're already looking forward to...
Read moreGOOD MUSHROOM CHICKEN! The mushrooms are perfectly cooked and they have a grilled taste almost. However, the chicken was a bit overcooked like it stayed in the warmer too long. I had tiny granules in my mushroom chicken of semi-burnt crisps. The chow mein was nice and thick, flavor wise it’s good. The teriyaki chicken was the best part! Unlike, the mushroom chicken, it was perfectly cooked. I also strongly recommend the egg rolls, they’re delicious! This takeout spot is pretty popular in East Hemet and it had a line almost out the door during the dinner rush. Service was good, the lady that helped us was cashier, server, and cook all in one! The restaurant doesn’t really have seating which is a shame, it felt like a pandemic restaurant (you know, when tables were scarce and they were used for providing space between you and the glass). Interestingly, this takeout spot serves Chinese, Mongolian and some Thai food! They even have Thai tea selections. A popular order here is the family meal which is $39.99. All return, but I probs won’t get the mushroom...
