Dollar General — Local services in Hempstead

I recently visited Dollar General and had an outstanding experience, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the store manager, Megan, and an employee, Dahniwa. The store was well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate, making my shopping experience smooth and stress-free.

Megan is an incredible leader who clearly takes pride in her work. She was attentive, approachable, and made sure that customers were taken care of with efficiency and kindness. Her professionalism stood out, and it was clear she sets a high standard for her team.

Good prices and decent selection. Most of the employees are fairly nice with the EXCEPTION of the old greyheaded BAT that works there. Store is difficult to get around in lots of the time. Lots of the time boxes block your way or make it difficult to get through especially if you have a handicap and use a cane. If in a wheelchair don't go to this store because you will not get through 80% of the store and God forbid there be a fire, you could get trapped in there and burn to death. Can't understand why fire marshall or some officals don't make them clean the place up. Ok store if you can work through an obstacle course in case of an emergency to get out. I use to love this place,but for some time now this place is going down hill! Today I go in no baskets in the front, why? Because they unloaded their truck into then.
