Dollar Tree — Local services in Hempstead

I went in this store a few days ago,while checking out the lady behind me had two of her items to get checked in with mine.I was placing my items into the basket as they were being checked out.When i noticed,i told the cashier that those 2 items were not mine.He "supposedly"took them off of my bill.When i got home i noticed that they were on my bill,the last 2 items.I added up everything on the receipt and i was charged.I went back to the store.The cashier saw me,he was filling up balloons.He saw me and turned away.I said ",excuse me",he still ignored me.He already knew.I went to the manager and showed him the receipt.He asked the cashier did he rememeber me.He did.Manager says i was given credit.Where?All my items were on the receipt.And the lady 2 items.All i wanted was an admittance to the mistake.Keep the $2.50.Principle.Didn't get it.We all make...

This store is horrible. While shopping there, we saw a Hispanic woman with 2 kids around the age of 3-5. Her youngest was walking around her basket and he grabbed some candy off the shelf. The worker (middle aged man with glasses) shouted at her across the store to keep her child next to her. This woman did not speak English. He then proceeded to yell “you’re on your phone, bad parenting in my book” across the entire store. Then the manager chimed in yelling if somebody if the store speaks Spanish, when nobody replied he then kicked the woman out of the store. She had no idea what was going on. After the woman and her kids left, the manager and worker were talking about her saying how many times they had to fix the shelf that her son took candy from. Also saying how bad of a mother she was. I am disgusted with this store. We put our items back and left. Will...

I have been coming to this location for over a year. This Dollar Tree has Never been as clean & organized than it is now! Props to the Assistant Manager, but also the team members that work together to keep the store clean & organized. The Manager is only as strong as his or her team, period, point blank. Dollar Tree employees have some ruff hours and days they are required to work in order to service their customers. This team is beyond remarkable. Still getting to know everyone on this team, however Tina is exceptional. I can only hope that management and above recognize their team's hard work because if they don't this would be a HUGE mistake. Keep up the good work....
