High quality toys. Very well made and kids love them.

Unfortunately, had a really bummer of a customer service experience.

Just spoke to someone on the phone. My daughter was given a custom large stool puzzle with her name as a gift. It was purchased by our friends who are repeat customers. It was spelled incorrectly by our friends who ordered it. I called to see if there was anything they could do and was told they could give me $10 off another one. The woman on the phone was unkind, and not empathetic. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Left me feeling disheartened.

What the woman on the phone didn’t know, was I also planned on ordering five other large custom puzzles today for friends that are pregnant and just had their babies, because I love what they make so much.

I Would love to continue supporting the business, however, I am very disappointed in the way I was talked at and supported today.

So impressed with this company - their products and their customer service. We have been lucky enough to have received stools from Damhorst Toys for each of our three girls - and how special it is they each have something so classic and long lasting that is also personalized. It's been six years since we have had our first stool - and it's STILL used constantly around our house - as a puzzle, a boost to reach things, a sitting spot, or just a cute decoration for our playroom. More impressive yet is the customer service - there was a mix up with our baby's name for our most recent stool and they corrected it right away - talking to a real live person who was exceedingly friendly, prompt and helpful (thank you Sheila!) I look forward to using Damhorst in the future to gift to other families - something I know they will treasure for many...

Quality. Beauty, Resilience, Practical and fun. I have never been disappointed, there has never been a defect, or a misspelled name or an inferior piece of wood. I have ordered 14 of these over the past 34 years and even the quality has stayed the same. The three that I bought for my children 30+ years ago are still being used and now I can buy them for their children and their friends who are close to us. Really, this is such a useful, quality gift plus, if you ever need to ask a question or a favour, there is always someone that answers the phone. This last time that I ordered, I had such a small amount of days before I needed to bring it back to Europe, and they were able to squeeze it in. I won't ask again, but it really helped me this time!
