Reserve Cellars of Hermann — Attraction in Hermann

Came to Hermann two weekends in a row to see Colin at the new Reserve Cellars that he recommended last weekend at Star Lane.

Colin was already our favorite wine guy in town but the Cellar is now our favorite location and wine.

What an amazing experience on the old 1847 farm. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy great wines from California and Missouri with amazing views.

Both the location and Colin’s hospitality makes it feel like a little piece of Napa in Missouri. Hopefully he extends their hours and thinks of some food options.

What a shame the best experience in Hermann is only open 3 days...

My wife and I were astonished on how fabulous the wine was. Jessie took amazing care of us. Every wine we tasted was unique in it's on way. We bought a case of different wines. The reds are all very well blended. I am not much of a white drinker, but wow, the Fume Blanc and the Chardonnay found their place in my case. We have never had such delicious Strawberry and Peach wine. Thank you Jessie for making our trip to Hermann worth while. Oh, and the view from the patio off the Press House is gorgeous. I had the pleasure of visiting Reserve Cellars for the first time during a Hermann Wine Trail event, and would happily return. The tasting bar in the barrel cellar is a cool haven on a very hot day, and the farm setting is quaint and gorgeous.

Chad walked us through our tasting and the Wine Trail pairing. The wines were diverse and catered to every palate, and I walked out with a bottle of brut for the effort.
