First of all, I would like to state this is in no way aimed at the nursing staff. The nurses were actually pleasant. This is directed to the doctor I had seen there about a year ago through the ER and the billing department. I had went to the ER after a gallbladder attack. I hadn't been able to keep anything down for several days and was severely dehydrated. I have had gallbladder attacks in the past and know what they feel like. I explained this, they refused to test me for anything other than a UTI. The doctor I was forced to see was one of the rudest medical professionals I have ever seen in my life. I did not ask for pain medication, I asked if they could test my gallbladder and she refused, stating they would give me medication for the uti, and informed me that even if it were an attack, they weren't going to remove it just because I wanted them to. I asked if I could receive fluids, because I couldn't keep food nor water down, she refused my request, saying I can drink fluids. She had zero bedside manner, everything she said to me was in a rude tone, and she yelled it at me. Doctors make a nice living from providing care to their patients, yet there are some doctors like this one that act as if you are trash beneath their feet. I will NEVER go back to Herman Hospital again. I work very hard to make a living and for insurance, I refuse to pay someone to treat me poorly. Their billing department is rude as well, and if they tell you they'll call you back by the end of the day, give them like 3 or 4 days to do it. I had to have emergency surgery this past May, I traveled an hour longer just to go to another hospital and avoid dealing with the doctors at Herman Hospital. The longer trip...

They dont care about their patients. They dont listen to what you have to say. The wont perscribe stuff you need. They just tell you to get "over the counter stuff" that youve already been taking. Dont go here. Oh yeah i just got my bill back & with insurance the charged me 547.00 to check my vitals & test me for strep. I litterally had to go to convenient care in Wentzville the next day to get antibiotics because the Neanderthals that work in Hermann wouldn't do anything...

THE MOST AMAZING DR. SWAYZE (THIS IS THE 2ND VERY SERIOUS HE HAS FIXED ON ME) & HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD ! EVERYONE WAS OUT OF THEIR WAY GREAT TO ME & DEDICATED TO FIX ME, & THEY DID IT WITHOUT SURGERY !! I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR ME BUT, "NOTHING YOU DID TO ME !"
