Our son and his fiancée held their June 2025 wedding ceremony and reception at the AAD Shrine Event Center and it exceeded everyone’s expectations! Jessica from the AAD Shrine Office met with the bride and groom in the months leading up to their big day to find out what they wanted as far as decor, set-up, bar availability, etc., and was even able to share caterer options with them.

Jessica is a gem to work with. She answered all of our questions, offered creative and beautiful ideas for the wedding and reception, had prompt and friendly communications back & forth with us, and by the time wedding day rolled around, Jessica felt more like a friend than a wedding organizer. She went above and beyond and the talents she shared made the wedding a perfect experience! FIVE STARS!

AAD Shrine was a perfect venue for our wedding reception! It's a little bit outside of Duluth, but you can't go wrong with the amenities and the autonomy that you have. With a max capacity of 350 guests, the spacious AAD shrine offers the flexibility to pick any type of catering, DJ Service, photography, etc. you wish to have, which can save a ton of money - especially food. The bar was perfect - the shrine provided the bartenders and will make sure to stock any kind of beer or liquor that you wish to have! Kegs are a bit expensive compared to other venues, but the cost is worth the savings you will get with the ability of picking your own caterer. Attended the Hermantown Legacy Fund fundraiser hosted by the AAD Shrine last night. Amazing venue with some great people. Tons of space, plenty of tables and seating. Temperature was very comfortable, which was especially nice for my guest and I prefer temps about 10 degrees difference from each other. The drive may be a bit out of the way for some, but having driven up here plenty of years to see movies at the old theater it was nothing new for us. The price of renting the venue appears extremely reasonable and knowing that the proceeds are going to a great organization that supports the greater community in multiple ways makes it a no brainer.
