Loved this awesome class! This is the 2nd class we've taken with Chef Arm and we loved it just as much as the first (pasta making for St. Patrick's Day). My son (7) loves to bake and really enjoyed baking along with the Chef, and we all though the finished product was DELICIOUS. He said the teacher went "just the right speed" during the cooking demonstration, and I have to agree! She made sure everyone was on the same step so no one felt lost or left behind. She also helped keep the class engaging by asking the kids to "thumbs up" to make sure they were ready for the next step, and my son loved watching his "like" and "love" reactions pop up on the screen from my phone. Our daughter absolutely ADORES Chef Arm! She originally took classes in person with her at MB Montessori, and raved about all the delicious new foods that she made (mind you, she was only 2 at the time!). Once the pandemic hit, Chef Arm graciously adapted the same Cook+Story class to online and our daughter was so happy to continue seeing a familiar face even though she was no longer in school. She looks forward to the weekly meetings, and has a very strong bond with Chef Arm. Chef Arm is so great with kids -- knows how to encourage and speak to them -- and our daughter has learned so much taking classes with her. Chef Armena is fabulous! Her love for cooking, teaching, and sharing is both warm and welcoming. Chef Armena held a fundraiser for Rainbow Services, which brought in funds to support our domestic violence programs. She took the time to craft a fun, interactive cooking class that was appropriate for children and adults. It was so amazing! We had children learning how to bake with their parents and adults decorating beautiful, festive focaccia breads with their friends near and far. I highly recommend her classes.
