Paws4ever ReSale Store — Local services in Hillsborough

I just visited for the first time--one of my dogs was adopted from Paws4ever (adoption facility in Mebane) so I figured I would stop by on my lunch hour and shop for a good cause. I was pleasantly surprised at how great this little store is!

Sometimes thrift stores can feel cluttered and crowded, but this place is laid out very well and isn't full of junk. It is clean and well-organized, with a section for pet supplies, of course! They also have: antiques/collectibles, kitchen/household items, jewelry, furniture, home decorative items, books, CDs, and DVDs. There is also an upstairs area with art and pottery, which I didn't explore this time. The store is staffed with friendly volunteers.

Love this store. Recently expanded. All proceeds go to help animals in need. Pet supplies, housewares, books, CDs, DVDs, furniture, some bags/accessories, office items, man cave stuff, decor, garden, and more. Frequent sales. I got my bike and tv screen here, amongst other useful items. Please note- even through its focus is helping animals it is not a store like PetSmart or Home Depot where you bring your dog. Very nice store. I saw a cat tree listed on Craigslist. I emailed the store and got a prompt reply. Hoping it would still be there, I drove to Paws4ever from Willow Spring the next morning. They still had not one, but three cat trees and everything was 50% off that day, so I bought them all! The store has many useful home and pet items. I also bought a bowl, a water fountain, and a cat bed. Staff helped me take the trees out to my truck, and everyone was very and nice. And best of all 100% of the proceeds goes to...
