Grand Cinema — Local services in Hinckley

This Hinckley movie theater is phenomenally clean and well kept. The on sight food and beverages are far beyond most movie theaters. Also importantly the bathrooms were pristine. The movie seating is comfortable with lifting arm rests making it a great location for dates. However the aspect ratio was off when I saw "The Joker" in room number 4 as in the top and bottom of the film were obviously cut off. It was blatantly obvious from the title screen. Lots of the movies facial shots seemed to be poorly framed and overly zoomed in due to this and there was one point where the Auther crosses out a word on a sighn that was completely out of fram due to the poorly optimized projector. I'm unsure if all of the theaters rooms are as bad as number 4s. The bulb however did not seem dim however. Most people will not notice this issue unless watching a movie with subtitles but during my viewing it was a glaringly apparent. Seeing a film for a first time can greatly affect your oppinion on it. If you own a movie theater you should be showing movies as close as possible to how they were intended...

Movies are great but the employees are so rude. Me and my cousin and our kids went in to see a movie cause we had some tickets turns out it was NOT a free movie ticket like it said and that ticket ment only one person could get in for free and the others had to pay 26$ I didn't have a problem with it so I let it go but then i called my sister to if she had some extra money they laughed. Now We came back they were pointing and laughing I can't remember the names but she was a brunette and she would run outside with her friends and talk to a guy and they would just laugh at us like pointing and laughing. No one explained it enough for everyone to understand and they laughed at us. Unprofessional and plain rude if I ran that place I wouldn't keep them working there honestly. You are being laughed at for no understanding. Not going back at all I'll drive 1 hour a way to watch a movie and not drive 15 mins. When they respect people...

Have only visited once but this is a really nice theatre & we had a great visit! It was also on Tuesday so the tickets were only $5! They have a nice selection of snacks, drinks, and popcorn all for decent prices, as well as a special on beers so we each got a bottle for only $3! After the movie we were worried the concessions would be closed to get a popcorn refill that came with the large bucket, as ive had that happen at other theatres. but the manager on duty was there and readily available as people came out of their showings to help with any needs or refills! :) look forward...
