Grand Cinema Pizza — Restaurant in Hinckley

I like their food but I had to wait 2 hours before I finally got it. I don't know if there is some sort of miscommunication between the them and ordering online because that's where I ordered from.

I should have taken a picture I didn't think about it unfortunately. but my calzone was a very sad calzone, they were very skimpy on the amount of ingredients with mine very little cheese and I could count the pepperoni and and sausages. Just not a very good one at all. I know what a calzone should be like, it should be packed full and proud of cheese and whatever topping I choose. Even if that means making it smaller, so be it. I understand there is a cost balance, but right now it's no where near worth the 7.59 they charge for it.

Also the crust on both the pizza and calzone there is a very funky taste I'm not really sure how to describe it really but, usually it's not this bad. This time around not good. Chicken was good though no complaints there at all totally worth it.

I'm hoping this was a once off deal because I do like their food usually. I'll be sure to update this the next time I get some. The movie theater part is great, I love it. I see of no reason why the pizza part of it can't be good too. For now I'm going to leave it at 3 stars, I want them to stick around and get good but let's see...

Tim Davis was awesome...the Grand Cinema and Pizza, trying to stay afloat during Covid19 has aligned with U Haul and allows their trucks and trailers to be stored in their parking lot.

Even though Tim is not exactly an agent for U Haul, he is listed as the contact number for the remote trucks and trailers that make use of his lot.

Tim went out of his way, drove in from home to help me navigate the U Haul online system on my phone, just so I could pick up my reserved truck and trailer that were in his lot. This was beyond service, this was beyond kind, this was old school at its best.

Please help support Tim and Grand Cinema Pizza, if anyone deserves a break during these troubling times, it is Tim. Again, it is nice to know there are still good people left out there...

We had fried pickles two different sets of wings and Mac and cheese bites

Our time to be done was listed on the order we ordered online which was 2:46pm, which was ridiculous when we actually got there 10 minutes after the time being. Continued to be told that it was not ready which therefore we waiting another 15 or so minutes to finally get our food ready. Our cheese bites were Luke warm, Pickles were under cooked breading was falling off, and the buffalo bone-ins we’re great! and the Barbecue bones less were Luke warm. Not satisfied at all. I Will never recommend to anybody else that has never been in the area to order there....
