White Castle — Restaurant in Hinckley

I think as we get older maybe our taste buds change, but I can for sure say that this place is not the same White Castle that we grew up with. The first thing that through me off guard was the tone from the worker over the intercom. The sound came off as annoyed when we asked to just have a minute to look over the menu. With our family of five in the car it became clear we should go with the new castle deal of ten new castle sandwiches, 20 chicken rings, with a thing of fries. When we got to the window, just like the intercom, the same guy just appeared so annoyed and unhappy. We received our food within seconds after paying which we thought was very impressive. We pulled over into their parking lot and pulled out our food for the kids and ourselves. We noticed that the burger buns were so soggy which meant one thing. The food must be frozen……just like their grocery store items. I understand why the grocery store items are not the best from White Castle, but expect fresh food items when I go out to eat. Unfortunately due to the service from an unhappy worker and the lack of fresh ingredients we will not be returning to this White Castle. I will say the Chicken Rings were the best item out of everything. Even our one year old daughter loved them, but even still, that is not enough to win us over to want to return. This another hand is very different review compared to my last review of their competitor Burger King. In the Hinckley Minnesota White Castle I've only had one time in the 10 years I've been up here that went really sideways and I think that was my fault because I was flirting like my life depended on it and wasn't paying attention but even then the order for the messed up part was actually right so I never hold that against them this time was no different. 30 cheeseburgers done to perfection although I miss the option for ketchup and mustard on my burgers. It's really hard to do that on the app and since you can't just call it in yeah it gets a little tricky but that's my only complaint my service is always top notch and they know how to mix my drinks yes I have a custom Coca-Cola and they know how to make it yes I did teach them but they know how to make it it's beautiful it's great symbiotic relationship and as a dispatcher my liquid is important because I've got to use my sweet deep melodic tones to get people all throughout East Central Minnesota. Nor can I afford to pass out from hunger so they've always always got my five-star rating until such day as they screw up my order so bad my stomach is still...

I found it kind of odd to have a White Castle in Hinckley, MN but it certainly has a place and purpose there. There's something about White Castle that makes it a great option instead of going to the usual places that seem to be everywhere. They've always had a breakfast that is superior to all other fast foods. They've always used fresh real eggs and you always felt like you got a meal just as you would in a sitdown restaurant! That remains true still today.... but they've added a few things over the years and the waffle breakfast sandwich is hands down just awesome and amazing. The staff members at this store are exceptional, very respectful and well mannered... polite and professional.

But wait, there's more, they have continued to make their sliders just as they've been known for for so many years, and theirs is the original slider! They've also added some items to the regular menu as well.. and all their food items are worth it, not just monetarily, but they are flavorful as well. Just stop in and try anything on their menu, you'll be more than pleased that you did and it won't bust your...
