Be careful and take consideration before bringing your loved ones to this place. I have had 1 out of five loved ones that have made it out alive and well over the years and him we were able to sit with and be patient advocate. Their care did seem to be better before covid, (and they are friendly still and seem sweet, and my most recent loved one that passed, liked them, and tried to assure me they were taking good care of him-when they refused to let me in) But As of the rules August 2021 they WOULD NOT even allow one family member, nor patient advocate, nor caregiver to visit or be with my loved one in the hospital or ICU, even though he had no contagious disease whatsoever. He went in for light bleeding from the hemorrhoids, and they kept him in ICU because they said he had atrial fibrillation (A-fib of the heart). But they would not take heed when they were told he needed thiamine and had previously been on thiamine supplement for deficiency, and we asked them to give him thiamine because another doctor had said he was deficient and needed it, (without it he would have sleep apnea and was in mild heart failure/ Beri Beri which low thiamine causes) , but they didn't give him any. But they did give him antibiotics that deplete thiamine. And gave him multiple pain medications that helped put him into respiratory distress/failure causing him to breathe too lightly and go unconscious, but then when they came in a few hours later and found him nonresponsive, they intubated him with non- standard equipment that ruptured his airway and he drowned in his own blood. I have no idea why they would use an inappropriate tube for intubation, but what they used was unbelievable unless you seen it, which I did after the fact. I forgive them, but don't want anyone else to be done like that. My only consolation was that, for the two days he was hospitalized prior to this 44yo loved ones death, while in this hospital, he told me he believed God was taking him Home to Heaven soon, I just never dreamed they would play a...
Read moreHad a bad car accident and spent a few days here. I was in terrible pain and scared. Most of the nurses and staff were truly amazing, including Holly, Melissa, Anna, Calolin, and many others. They were very caring in a lonely, painful time of need for me. However, there was one nurse that needs to reconsider her career, Cammy. She was rude, neglected me, and physically hurt me, twice! Worse nurse with a bad attitude. Enjoyed having power over patients in need. I will pray for her. To the rest of the amazing staff, I was truly blessed...
Read moreHad to spend 6 days cooped up in here due to my own idiocy. The nurses were great. They helped turn a rotten time into a tolerable experience. I also must say that the food was some of the best "hospital food" I think I have ever had. A great big THANK YOU goes out to the nursing staff, and a very well done goes out to the chefs/cooks in the kitchen. I almost forgot to mention the team that does the admitting at the main ER desk. I had 3 weeks of outpatient antibiotics and they were...
