This store does not provide customer service. It only has sales people. If you need help, you must call the support line yourself (even if youāre standing in the Verizon store). I have been in the Verizon store at Brookwood Village three times in the last month. After upgrading online and receiving a new phone the order was stuck as pending and the service could not be transferred to the new phone. I went to the store and James (Verizon employee) tried to correct the issue by calling Verizon support. He made up voices to impersonate people on my account and then hung up on the support line thinking he knew better. He returned my new phone without my permission and would not allow me to leave the store with it (the phone I brought into the store). He told me to come back a few days later and order a new phone. When I returned the order was still pending (because James refused to follow the support lineās direction) and I had to call support again (while standing in the store) myself to clear the issue and then was told to return to the store a few days later once again. I went back a third time. James again made some stuff up and acted inappropriately. He tried to get me to upgrade my account saying it would save me money. When I verified it with his manager, that was not the case. Instead of upgrading online and getting the phone delivered to my house for easy set up, I spent 6 weeks, made 3 visits to the store, and paid $30 for an employee to turn on a new phone. Was also told my account did not allow trade ins after the online order said I would receive a trade in balance of $200. Upgrades should be easy to complete online but if there is a technical issue itās very difficult to get resolved. The sales people in the store have almost no technical knowledge and make the issues worse. You are best off calling support from home and working it out on your own. The people in Verizon stores are only there to sell stuff and are only trained on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been a Verizon customer for years, and have always been happy with them. Iāve had my iPhone 6 since 2014, so we are bosom buddies.
Yesterday, when I needed a new battery, and on the way to the store, dropped it and shattered both the screen saver AND the screen, I was practically in tears. My buddy was broken almost beyond repair.
But after my experience at the Verizon store at Brookwood Mall, I felt like I had visited with family, and left there not only happy, but with a feeling of peace and comfort, even with a new strange phone (that Iām sure will become my NEW best buddy).
First, the store was IMMACULATE. The layout gave us plenty of room to āsocial distanceā, and I felt completely safe the whole time I was there (which turned out to be an hour). It also turned out I needed a new phone, and Erick, the associate who helped me, could not have been more caring, kind, and attentive. I felt like I was talking with my son. He was so patient with this tech-challenged little old lady! He transferred everything from my old phone to the new one, but also took the time to show me stuff I'm sure everyone under the age of 30 already knows.
This COVID pandemic has been tough all around, but even with masks on, I left Verizon feeling like I had spent a satisfying hour. There arenāt enough stars on this app to tell you how much I recommend this company, this location, and in particular, this very special...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible experience! I went in this past weekend to buy an Apple Watch 4 GPS only and now wish Iād just gone to the Apple store instead! The sales guy (Chris Evans) was pushy, kept telling me he āknew what I wantedā, essentially making the sale without me saying okay to anything. While I was considering other colors for the watch, he advised me heād already processed it!! He told me the 4 series ONLY has the GPS/Cellular option; wrong...you can buy EITHER and there is a $100 price difference go figure. He didnāt inform me of the $10/mo line access fee for the watch or any other details of how my plan would change before handing me a sales receipt with a signature on it when Iād never signed for anything. I asked about it and he said it was a āgenericā one that they use?? To add insult to injury, he TEXTED me the next day initially asking if I had any intentions of returning the watch (which I thought was weird) but then went on to ask if I had a boyfriend or an Instagram account!! Luckily I saved ALL proof which will be sent to Verizonās president and I WILL be returning the watch! Ladies, if you need a date for the weekend ask for Chris the sales guy or Frank the manager; otherwise...
