The Pineapple EXP — Local services in Honolulu

Wow, what a fantastic trip (26th Dec 2022). Our tour guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. Really chilled out and relaxed.

Pick up/drop off: Very prompt. No issues at all.

Vehicle: Comfy, large and air conditioned with high wide and clean windows to look out of.

Tour guide: Very knowledgeable and easy to get on with. Answered all our questions whilst providing lots of information which was great. Took our food orders (for our lunch time) and made sure we were all served correctly.

Sights: Loads to see with regular stops. Have a look at the itinerary as lots to get excited about. Plenty of opportunities for photos. You will get the time to go swimming so make sure you take your swim outfit and towel. The changing facilities (at Turtle Bay) is NOT good (not the tour guides fault) as there are toilets (single cubicle for males) that you change in and it's not very clean so perhaps just dry your top/change it and wrap a towel around your bottom 1/2 as you will dry out in the heat/sun.

Overall: If your first time visiting Oahu this is recommended as it will give you a wide knowledge of places to visit during the rest of your stay. This is a good thing as we planned to go back to some areas and we used this is a baseline to know if it was worth a second visit. For example the Dole plantation we went back to another day as it was so good there. The dole ice cream itself was lovely but be prepared for really long queues! We made some friends on this trip as well (seen them back in the UK since we've been back) which was nice and we met them up in the evenings in Oahu (including New Years Eve)...

Loved this excursion. PE was our driver. She personally called us the evening before to confirm and answer any questions, texted the morning of and again answered our questions. She was on time, looked professional, and was super friendly. We got in the large sprinter van. The van was clean, air conditioned, and the seats were comfortable. We went to pick up one more family before getting on the road. PE was very knowledgeable of the area and shared stories, advice, facts, reccomendations, and a couple jokes- while answering questions and engaging all 10 of the passengers. She knew to get ahead of the large busses and groups - and that saved lots of time. PE would take photos of our group at each location, and was prompt when she parked and picked up. VERY PROFESSIONAL! I would highly reccomend taking the Pineapple exp. Island tour and pray that you get PE...

A MUST WHILE IN OAHU! For our girls trip here we booked a day tour with pineapple exp. Our tour guide, Hawaiian Ryan, took us on 10 stops all over the island. We had pickup/dropoff right at our hotel in Waikiki and the drive was air conditioned and comfortable. This tour was the perfect adventure to kickstart our trip. We got to take lots of photos at the most beautiful landscapes outside the city and see some of the popular tourist attractions. Not only was the tour affordable but I don’t think we would have had the same experiences if we didn’t go with a local who knew where to stop. He had so much knowledge about the island and was supper friendly and open to giving travel recommendations. A highlight was listening to all his stories living here on the island. I would 100% recommend this to family or friends...
