I come here almost every week to get things I need such as groceries and house essentials and I have always had good service but today that changed. First thing I noticed was that the target radio played really annoying and non enjoyable songs and made my experience less enjoyable. Also I noticed since the store has renovated it has not bean as enjoyable of an shopping experience and things are not as easy to find. I came here for the Lego Minecraft event to get one of the lego minifigures. The person running station 1 greeted us at the front and gave us our sticker sheet. She said at the end we will get a prize. We went through the store and competed the scavenger hunt and went to the final table. they gave us this minecraft code that only works if you have an xbox and gold membership (this was not meant to be a prize for completing the scavenger hunt.) . This code was useless to me because I do not have a xbox or a gold membership for x box because it is really expensive. The guys at the last station told us to go to the front of the store to get our prize. when we arrived we showed them that we completed the event and they said we will be an minute we have to find the prizes. we waited for 10 minutes and still no prize. We went back to the back to see if they had the prize and no prize. we waited for about 15 to 20 minutes and they said thet there was no prize and that only 270 stores got the lego's. This event was extremely unorganized and it was false...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI live in Hooksett and I'm at this store a lot and particularly the clothing departments are always messy, even first thing in the morning. You can tell that no one went through and did "recovery" the evening before. And that's a management problem because it means that they're offering zero oversight to their employees. Also, I was there tonight around 5 and there was a line of about 12 people waiting for self-checkout and ONE person on a register, with about 6 people waiting - and this person was unbelievably slow. While this was happening, a group of 5 employees were having a little pow-wow or something at a closed register. Where TF was a front end manager? How can they think that having a single person on registers on a Saturday evening is sufficient? I can also never find anyone to help me on the floor. You guys need to get it together because this store used to be really nice but they're falling short on staffing and customer service.
Edit 6/8/25: Another Saturday morning and here we are AGAIN with all the self checkout lines closed and only ONE register open. I'm currently 6th in line with people behind me. Wtf is this store thinking??? This place has been my go to, but it's probably my last trip here....
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlaced an order online for a gift registry. Order wasn't ready so we went through the store grabbed all the items and went up to customer service with the paid receipt. The store manager wouldn't let us leave even though we had all the items in the paid receipt, because it varied slightly from their process, and the store manager had to follow the process to the books instead of marking the items down as paid and leaving the store. We live an hour away and drove down here to pick this order up. We went back and forth with the store manager for a half hour with no success. So we then had to go sit out in the parking lot, and wait for them to do their job because they wouldn't help us out even though we did their entire job for them and all they had to do was scan the items in as leaving the store as an online shopping pickup. These are some of the many reasons why places like Target will be out of business and Amazon is running the world. If it wasn't for a wedding registry, I would have shopped from Amazon to begin with.
