Not sure what all these people are complaining about, but I’m guessing some of them have never worked any customer service jobs. Like this is a fantastic Starbucks and I’m so thankful it exists inside this Target because the wonderful, fabulous, kind hearted, funny and hilarious employees here who are always here to help get me through my mornings. I come in to get my mom and I our breve lattes or my iced matcha (I love the lavender oat milk matcha and so glad it came back this year, highly recommend) and the tomato mozzarella sandwich I’m obsessed with.
I work as the lead beauty advisor over at the Sephora at Kohl’s across the street, where I am the singular Sephora employee in the entire store at the moment and let’s just say that as much as I love my job, it still can be very emotionally draining because I don’t have any help. so sometimes I don’t think I would survive my day without a quick visit to this wonderful Starbucks beforehand! I’m not even trying to be dramatic when I say these awesome baristas save my life regularly lol. Just the facts.
Both the adorable guys with glasses and all the gorgeous ladies here are so sweet and kind, like every single person here works so hard to get you what you ordered as quickly as possible. I genuinely appreciate them all. Thank you, my lovely Starbucks friends!! Without you guys to provide me with my caffeine fix on some days, I just know my BS meter would be way lower and I’d probably be a littttle less capable of being a professional haha. So thank you to every single one of you, it’s always a joy when I get to see your smiling faces before going to work in the morning. I have never once been disappointed by my drinks either!
My point is that this group of baristas are talented and they make a damn good cup of coffee, matcha, espresso, whatever it is you’re getting. I have never been done wrong by any of them. But again, this is a small location! so you need to come in with some patience and grace and just relax for a second because they will get to you, but some days/times get VERY busy for them (and for good reason) so they can only go so fast when there’s a huge line. On weekends they’re probably going to be sold out of some of the food options as well, because of the high volume of foot traffic those days. I normally come on weekdays when I have the time before I have to clock in at Sephora - there’s hardly a wait on weekdays btw and usually nothing has sold out.
Anyway, basically my advice is don’t show up on a weekend for example and expect to be in and out. It’s a Target location so there are going to be less employees on staff than a standalone store, and you’ll likely have to wait about 10-15 mins in line because you’re not the only person trying to get their caffeine. However I promise your beverages will turn out perfect if you come to this location and are going to be worth the wait (:
Have a great day, Starbucks babes!!! This makeup artist freaking adores you...
Read moreWent into Target to browse and buy some new apartment items and stopped for a coffee. Baristas are a bit nonchalant and care more about talking with one another than taking your order. After the barista finally came back out from the back, I placed my coffee order. After paying for it, she said "Oh, we don't have that available anymore." I asked her why she didn't say something sooner, and she said she had forgotten. She offered to make me something else at the price of the drink I ordered, so I ordered something different. After starting to make it, she turned back around and said "Oh, I just cleaned the machine, so I can't make it." I asked again, why didn't she say something when I said my order, not after saying it and her beginning to make it. She said she could make me a black coffee with flavoring (I had ordered a caramel macchiato, and then a caramel frappe) to which I asked if there was anything similar to the drinks I ordered. She responded very rudely "Well, you wanted coffee, I can give you coffee with flavoring, but I'm not cleaning the machine again." (This was around 3 in the afternoon). I asked for a refund and was given my money back. I went in a few weeks later and ordered another coffee, at which time when my name was called out, was the wrong drink. They refunded me and remade it, but I don't believe I'll...
Read moreMy partner wanted to grab me a s’mores frappuccino, to surprise me! Well this was the wrong store to go to. She had to wait 7 minutes for someone to acknowledge her at the register. One girl without a name tag was complaining how she had to clean and was making sighs sounds constantly, like ordering a drink is impeding on her time, while Saa seemed she was exhausted (maybe from working with this other employee) While they were making my drink, my partner realized they were using whole milk not soy, (due to being lactose) she informed them of this and in a snarky remark from the employee not wearing a name tag said “good catch” trying to make Saa feel embarrassed. I hope this is a corporate establishment, because I am sure they are loosing costumers, just as they have...
