I enrolled at this school in October 2018 for Medical Billing Office and Administration. Things were okay but only for a little while. The longer I went here the more I realized this school was a joke. The instructor had to go by a day to day lesson plan that didn't make any type of sense. The lesson plan had to her reading books to us instead of actually teaching. I don't feel I learned enough about the program and don't think i'm gonna pass the certification test because it was more of a lecture then actually teaching. We would go over material the day before the test and were expected to take a test on it the very next day. Not only that but they screwed up my financial aid because Ms. Miranda couldn't be there to do it the correct way. It was left up to a bunch of people who don't know the first thing about dealing with VA benefits. There were supposed to people in Miranda's office, taking care of the financial aid but clearly they weren't doing a damn thing because I was expecting my BAH on the 1st of May and didn't get anything. Miranda had been gone since March and they knew she wasn't coming back right away. They never said anything about our BAH being late until i asked about it and still they were giving me the run around and dont seem to know what they are doing. I would not recommend anyone to come to this school because they lesson plan suck and they micromanage so much. Oh yeah and they will screw up...
Read moreI was very hopeful of Ross College in the begin. As far as my teacher she was a great teacher but when it comes to the lesson plan she has to follow the plan of someone higher up instead of her own lesson plan even though she had over 20 years experience and the lesson plan does not work well at all. It was very confusing and made it very hard to follow along. Also they had to have someone take over financial aid for a while and they messed up my V.A. benefits. Instead of informing everyone whom will be affected by the change that VA benefits will be delayed or any change at all. They never informed me that they were unable to send in the information to renew my benefits when I asked them what was going on they gave me the run around and told me so many different stories it all seemed like no one knew anything. I still have yet to receive my benefits and they do not seemed to be concerned about why no information has yet been sent to the VA. I would not recommend this school simple because no one seems to be on the same page here and the last thing you want messed up when it comes to school...
Read moreGood location for Ft. Campbell area residents. Programs need to be re-vamped for optimal learning. Class times vary for days or nights. Some programs need to have more money poured into them (OTA and medical assisting) for lab equipment and study materials. There are NO vending machines, so students must bring their own snacks. Most teachers are very good and knowledgeable. Staff is pretty good in supporting students. Financial Aid still needs work, they only do computerized web certifications with other facilities, no major knowledgeable personal on site, especially for Veterans. School does not provide any on-site tracking or the ability to print transcripts, must go on-line to Ross to order, pain...
