The horizon walgreeens has THE rudest employees in the pharmacy. You walk up, they just stare at you. This always happens, not only to myself but my husband, mother and older children have all experienced it. No greeting or even remotely polite. Today I needed to take my family for flu shots and it was going to be hard to make an appt because weâd be in between doing other things. I did however call first to make sure it was ok to walk-in. I show up and of course the girl immediately just stares at me. Itâs so early to already be so sour with your customers. And I try to go out of my way to be friendly to anyone in the service industry, I know itâs difficult. Anyways, after huffing cause we have no appointment she says YOU HAVE TO make an appointment. No you donât, theyâre making it up as they feel like. I state that I previously called and asked and was told walk ins are fine and she just stares at me then goes to ask, who I assume, was the nurse. She says theyâre âtoo busyâ, make an appt. Which is understandable except, we were the ONLY ones in the pharmacy and even the window was empty. I think a car drove up as we were leaving. How were they too busy??? They just didnât feel like it. We went to CVS where the employees are way friendlier and much more helpful. There were several customers in the pharmacy AND several cars at the drive through yet they didnât act as if I was asking for some impossible favor. We waited a bit but that was no problem. I was willing to wait at Walgreens as well but wasnât given the option. The Walgreens on Montana and Yarbrough, Lee Trevino, and on McRae have great employees as well. Not sure why the Horizon pharmacy locationâs staff is perpetually rude, but thatâs been my experience. I hesitated to go in the first place but itâs very close to my home. I keep trying but Iâm done there. Get some manners and customer service skills. Or donât. I prefer to go further...

On June 21 2019. I went to pick up my medication was informed at 6 pm that one of my medications was not released by my insurance and that my providor had called in one of medications in late . I informed clerk it made no sense that this occurred this way cause I was in front of my providor office when he called in my medication by noon. Front clerk stated mame there is nothing I can do your insurance is closed and we can not help you. I asked for a manager and this man presented himself as a manager Mr Rene Martinez . I addressed my concern and I stated this was very in professional of walgreens in not giving a courtesy call to inform me they waited tell 6 pm to inform this when of course my ins is closed. Pretend manager stated mame we have a lot of customers and we do not have time to be calling when your insurance made mistake. I was so upset that this man first introduces he is manager and come to find out he is only a lead wow. So I come to another pharmacy and find out walgreens entered my prescription into the system twice that is why insurance was not paying it due too many entry's were made in walgreens system so insurance could not cover it. All Walgreens pharmacy had to call insurance for the wrong entry .    Read moreI never write negative reviews, but this one really called on me. Ordered online for store pick up for my first time. Got message saying it was ready for pick up. Drove excitedly to the store when I arrived at the pick up counter by photo counter, no one in sight. I was the only one waiting to helped. Waited 10 minutes. Saw employees acknowledge I was waiting, but no assurance I would be helped. I walked around store and found the assistant manager doing other things (not helping customers) at the moment and decided Iâd ask for help. He said âsomeone will be right with you,â instead of just helping me while there was absolutely no one else he was attending. He began opening boxes instead and doing other things for 15 minutes. Waited over 25 minutes total inside the store to receive an item I already paid for. PLUS, I was skipped by the employee when he arrived to another customer too. So irritating. Ultimately, the assistant manager helped me lol. No apologies or âthank you for your patience,â nothing. Seemed bothered to help. WORST Walgreens EXPERIENCE EVER.
