If I could give this less than one star, I would.
We ordered my 3rd grader's bass in August. Was told it would be shipped directly to my daughters school.
Received a note from her music teacher that her instrument wasn't there yet. Called store. Now told that basses must be picked up, they would find it, and let me know if I could get it Saturday or Monday.
No call back.
Husband went by Monday morning and asked again. They shipped the wrong size. Now cannot find one. Would get back to us as soon as possible with more information.
Call at 6:30pm to check status. Was told, "we cannot tell you. We don't know. We'll tell you when we get it."
When I tried to get ANY info (because her music lessons now start TOMORROW) the sales associate simply talked over me, saying over and over, "I can't help you. I'll let you know when it arrives."
I said, "Are you talking a day or two or a month?"
"As I said, I'll let you know when it arrives."
If a music store that warehouses instruments cannot tell me even an approximation...there is something wrong. It now "might" be shipped to the school...or not...they don't know...either from the West Coast or...
Read moreMusic and Arts has been our go-to store for items our daughter Madison needed for jazz and marching band the last 8 years. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The store has a wide variety of items such as music, valve oil, lyre, instruments you can buy or rent, and more. You can take lessons here to learn various instruments.
I went into the Horsham store yesterday and needed a nickel plated Yamaha lyre for my daughter Madison, who we just moved into her dorm for the start of her freshman year at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She just tried out for and made the IUP Legend Marching Band for the Fall 2024 season. The lyre I needed was not in stock, and a staff member made a few calls to other stores and found it at the Doylestown store. The item was held aside for me at the Doylestown store and I went there to get it and mailed it to my daughter at the nearby post office. The Yamaha nickel plated lyre was the last one in the store. This is the great customer service I have come to expect at...
Read morePeople check your receipts before you leave this store. They charged me 4$ for a tag which my daughter had already bought to the store and I did not notice till I got home . I did not even ask for one we could havereused the one we had from our last rental. When you are sitting on the table you don’t get much information on these extra charges. I was also double charged for my monthly billing. This company’s rental agreement should be double checked because it’s all a lie. The customer service department sucks and no one has a answer to your question. All dumb people seem to answering the phone who have no knowledge about customer service. Will never rent from this company ever again. And also will never let my friends make the same mistake I did. Lots of other...
