The manager on duty was AWFUL to say the least she chastised me out loud in front of other customers about my 5# Yorkie in his padded carrier which also I use to carry my wallet phone etc saying he couldn't be in the buggy.stating it's HIPPA law?? We exchanged words I told her she just made my shopping choices much easier as I live close by and have shipped there hundreds of times with NEVER an issue before..but never will again...I hope this will wake up other pet owners who have a medical Need to have their pets close wherever they go. This woman needs to be retrained in manners...SHE HAS NONE!! PS why is it OK for a baby in a carrier to be in a buggy or a purse to be placed in a buggy that has set on God Knows whatever surfaces??? My Dog has more manners than This lady he didn't make a peep the entire trip which btw was less than 30 min. I can't handle shopping in a store for more than 45 min without risking a vertigo episode.IF SHE hadn't been LOOKING in my bag she would NEVER have known he...
Read moreCrispy catfish is all I could think about today when I got out in the rain to visit the deli at Harp’s. Kristin was working the counter alone (somebody called in sick), but she greeted everybody with a smile and cheerful attitude. I especially appreciate the time that she took to pick out the crispiest pieces for my dinner and also to help me find carrot cake. 🥳
At least as importantly, Kristin shared with me all of the safety procedures they went through to ensure their customers are protected from listeria reported in Boar’s Head meat. As a #PublicHealth advocate, I am grateful to be treated respectfully when I am wearing a mask during this Covid surge. 🦠
At checkout, Cassandra continued the kind gestures, holiday greetings and a thoroughly efficient checkout. Turner D just cleared out all of the used buggies from the lot, too. The whole store looks great, inside and out. 🎉
One thing other people may not notice that I especially like is the music in this store. Makes me want to dance!...
Read moreI walked into the harps in Hot Springs for some chicken breasts. I grabbed a hand basket and a plastic bag in because I don't like handling the chicken when it feels wet. I saw that 4 breasts were 12 bucks. It seemed steep and since I don't do the shopping normally, I called my wife to see if that is the going rate. She told me she would just go to Walmart later and forget it. I lay the basket in an empty buggy towards the back a began to walk out. Half way down the Isle I hear a guy yell "don't come back". It took me a second to realize he was talking to me. I confronted him and asked what the issue was, he then accused me of shoplifting and told me not to come back. I couldn't believe it. I despise a thief and to be called one is an attack on my character. I then explained the situation. He still accused me of trying to shoplift. I was irate. Never will I spend 1 dollar in...
