I love this place because the staff is so friendly and helpful. They have worked very hard to make a real difference in the world. Reuse of construction materials instead of landfills is the greenest option I can imagine. Any nonprofit can get real help for construction projects like doors, cabinetry, windows, toilets, vanities, electrical and plumbing fittings, bricks, pipes, lumber, plywood, siding. Sometimes you can find dishwashers, lighting, stoves, tile. This place warehouses donations and tallies how many tons of material are diverted from the landfill. They accept excess construction materials and make them available to non-profit groups at no cost to them. Everything from flooring to roofing seemed to be on hand. We were dropping off two sets of bathroom cabinets that we replaced during some remodeling. Hopefully they will help out someone “Down the line” rather that taking up space...
