Wife and I were looking to try a new coffee spot this morning. Decided to stop by and check it out. Ordered a cortado, biscoff latte, and the breakfast toastie. It seemed like there was only one person working with 10 guests ordering…didn’t inspire confidence 😞 it took around 30 minutes just to get two coffee drinks (which were good by the way) but then the employee let us know she was by herself and was waiting for someone else to come in to start making the food. There was no way she could catch up in a reasonable amount of time with all the other guests, so we decided to cancel the food order. Maybe this was abnormal, but seemed odd to only have one person working in the morning when you would have the most customers at a coffee shop. If you are expecting quick service or need to pop in to grab a drink and leave, this is not the spot. So happy to have a local place walkable! we’ve been a couple times and the atmosphere is nice & the staff are friendly for sure. Only complaints are the wait time & consistency. Each time we have waited over 30min for 2 iced sugar cream matchas & a pain au chocolat to go. The first time the food was great, but the second time the matchas were not cold & the ice melted immediately leaving the beverage still warm. The pain au chocolat also was not warmed at all so it was just hard chocolate to bite into instead of the melty creamy chocolate the first time. There’s a ton that looks good that we want to try on the menu & we will be back to try it out again! We’re excited to try the pistachio croissant that’s on the menu though they never seem to have it but...

I wanted to try this place and the experience was just ok. I felt the music was so loud and hard to even have a conversation in the cafe. I was hoping for a cozy vibe but the atmosphere just fell short of that. I was sad to find by noon they were already out of oat milk. I asked the barista if the fluffy dolce de leche latte was with cold foam and she confirmed with me twice it was. When my drink came out it was with whip cream, so kind of disappointed of an $8 drink that wasn’t fully what I was hoping for. They were pretty busy so I can understand some things.
