So I had been having problems with my CB radio. I couldn’t get anyone to respond to me when I spoke. I decided to take it to Cool Wave CB Shop to get it checked out. I fully recommend this shop to anyone looking to have work done on their CB radio. They do quality work and are friendly, courteous and go above and beyond to make sure you get what you pay for but at the same time they are an honest establishment that is not just out to take your money. This is the first place I’ve ever been to that took their time to explain and show me what was wrong with my radio. He also checked my antenna to make sure it was in good condition, which ended up needing to be replaced, and hooked me up with an antenna that fit my budget and would work great with what I had at the same time. They were a bit of a way for me to drive out of Fort Bend County, but I’m so glad I did. I had a brand new Cobra CB and Firestick Antenna that needed to be “tuned”. I called them and they said come right over. Man, they are busy…truckers, police officer, other guys like me in my pickup trucks, mainly repairing other CB’s. But they got to me in good order with only a short wait and did a quick and great job, plus recommended an upgrade Mic that was tons better than the factory Cobra. Really recommend this shop. The owner is really cool. Called him up to see if he can look at my CB and he answered the phone swiftly. One thing I really like about this shop is he inspected everything without charging a fee. Told me what was needed and didn’t just let me buy all these parts told me different set ups and what and when I should do it. I will be back for the second upgrades for my setup for sure. And didn’t take that much time to rig it up....
