0n 6/12/20 I came here to look and price a SCAG mower for my husband. I did not know which one he wanted other than 61" mower deck, so with SCAG book on his desk I priced 4 of them that were 61", full pricing without any discounts or tax exemption- just base price. William was quoting me the prices, which I repeated the model, deck size, hp and price. I wrote down all the important details I would need to further my research. William did not have any answers re: digital vs electronic fuel injections. After picking up on the exact one my husband was interested in I returned 4 days later on 6/16/20 and again asked for William bc they "work on commission" and I believe credit is due for the time invested in me. When I arrived I told William the one I wanted and he began looking in the computer and quoted me a different price ($14,517.15) $400.00+ higher then 4 days earlier. I said that is not what you quoted me 4 days ago, he said for the STTII-61V-35-BV (which is not the one I wanted) he then began printing out sheets with prices etc.. stating, "I just want you to know where I am getting my number from" He stated, that the one I was interested in STTII-61V-31DFI is $17,079. Where 4 days earlier he quoted me $14,135.00. I was VERY CLEAR and he was VERY CLEAR 4 DAYS EARLIER. He then mentioned "well let me see if they still offer their discount" ( first responder discount 15% per SCAG) I pulled it up on my phone and showed it to him. He really failed my sale today. He then said we have some FERRIS in that range. (Really???) He said let me see what I can do tomorrow and I will give you a call. I said why can't you see today, what you could see tomorrow? He said the manager is not here. I told William if you cannot work with what you quoted me 4 days earlier don't bother calling me. My cash will spend the same elsewhere. My time is VERY VALUABLE and how dare he discredit anyone without admitting that he might have made a mistake!! And instead making me look like I misunderstood!!! Integrity! Learn it, live by it. One star because of brands. I always try to buy local but I guess I will...
Read moreI took a brand new L3301 in for a insurance claim to replace the hood, headlight, hydraulic line, and a small recall issue. When I called three weeks (roughly later - I'm OK with time - It takes time to get parts in). While waiting on the parts my brother and I just asked how much it would cost to to the 50hr. service it was 625.00. We never gave authorization to do the service not verbally or written. We expected a simple deductible of $250.00 and that's it. I was told by Frank we could not pick up the tractor unless we came up with 800+ dollars.
His theory was if he wrote a service ticket for it then its was right and was basically telling me I didn't know what I approved and didn't.
At this time I still don't have my tractor and am loosing out of work on the order of about $300 per day. The real kicker is he said they were going to drain all the oil and hydraulic fluid out put my old filters back on and put my oil and hydraulic fluid back in. ( God only knows what nasty bucket that was sitting in ) .
Kubota is a very nice tractor and manufacturer but Frank and Lansdowne-Moody in Webster TX do a dis-service to such a fine brand.
The real kicker I was going to have them order a BH77 for my L3301 and bring a sub contractor of mine in to look at getting an SLV-90
While I am writting this I would suggest anyone looking to buy a Kubota try Peters Tractors & Equipment in Livingston, TX - No BS with them.
I just really hope these yahoo's don't try some type of retribution tactics. I question the entire deal with...
Read moreI dropped my machine off to them m and I never asked them to go through the engine I only asked for the extension and the throttle to be fixed. Thought it was a computer issue since I put a new one in there last year. It was missing the battery cover when it came back to me. They tell me otherwise! They say I asked them to go through the engine and I never did. Didn't even fix the main issue until after they told me it was ready to be picked up when I when I asked about it. Whenever the unit was dropped off the driver called me and I spoke to Chris and I told him exactly what I wanted done. They took upon themselves to go through the engine, I have more issues with this machine when it came back before I sent it over there. Their technician was mad because we didn't want to spend $13,000 to put an engine in it when we tried to pick up the first time and it would not start. We felt like it didn't need one all we wanted was the extension and the...
