Don Chile Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Houston

Walking in, it's your average ordinary Mexican restaurant. Nothing spectacular. I was seated with a menu. They took my order, I ordered the steak and eggs, then they brought my coffee as I waited for my food. The waitress never came to refill my cup of coffee. I went to the restroom, it wasn't the cleanest. Sat back down at my table, waited for my food, "with no coffee in my cup still." My food finally came and at first glance, my steak didn't look exactly like a steak. "It wasn't a ribeye steak i tell you that." I went ahead and gave it a try and it tasted like it looked, "not good." It must have been a cheap cut of steak and there was no flavor. I didnt finish my plate, it was a disappointment for me. So when i pushed it away, the waitress finally came to the table and asked if I was done with it. I said yes and asked her for more coffee. She said ok, so I waited and waited and waited some more. I looked around for her and didn't see her. I finally got up and went to pay for my food. The food wasn't all that good and my coffee never got refilled. What an impression for this restaurant. You know, it's not the company that makes the business good or bad, it's the employees. So as for me, I won't be going back. We all have or own opinions, so that's why I'm leaving mine. Always being discriminated by Mexicans that only speak Spanish well I was born here in the United States I'm 5th generation American citizen and in reality I have no reason to speak Spanish and when I go to their country to visit they don't all speak English to me so why do they see I should speak Spanish in my country. At this restaurant a little small dish cheese queso when I saw a pair of white gentleman ask for another one the waitress promptly brought the other serving we had almost finished eating and I saw that there was a little bit of chips and I had I let the family members that I was with eat the cheese so I ordered will when I saw that they brought one out for them will the waitress came back I told me it would be a dollar fifty she did ask me if I was going to eat it there or if I wasn't I plan to eat it with a little leftover chips over there. It kind of apologized but I was really upset and I'll never go to another establishment like that especially this one was okay nothing special it's cheap for the amount that they serve you but it's IV better for less money so me I'll never go back again. Unfortunately your serving low end food quality at high end prices and I've seen it before but it doesn't make for a good recipe. Taco shells were so hard and old just terrible and chips were old and cold. The cheese enchiladas fair with the beans and rice however the over all meal was very overpriced for the quality of the meal. Service not very good poor communication skills makes you feel uncomfortable. I had the super dinner which I would not consider super at all by any means. Sorry Don Chile but you let me down on the food quality and the service. This place is not consistent on food quality and service and prices are too high for what you serve. I won't return to your restaurant this time anymore. Sorry. I'll continue my search for good Mexican food which is really very hard to find. Your restaurant is a one 🌟 experience at best.
