The Home Keepers — Local services in Houston

Update: Still 5 stars in my book! I needed to schedule a very last minute move out clean and Laura and her crew came through for me. I really appreciate their professional and thorough service!

I am very satisfied with the service I received from Home Keepers. I clean my house every week but I wanted someone to come and help me get the things I never seem to get to (washing walls, cabinets, blinds, etc) so I got the "Top to Bottom" done at my house and they did a very good job. I cleaned the house before they came thinking that would cut down on the time they were there but it turns out my normal routine is basically nothing compared to what they do. I used another cleaning service in the past for the same type of clean (less $$) and I didn't really feel like they did anything special. After the "Top to Bottom" clean I really felt the difference.

From the get-go the communication was very good. I got a quote by filling out the form online, got scheduled, and got an ETA the day before the cleaning. The day-of someone called to let me know who I could expect to be coming and going during the day. While the ladies were cleaning, the cleaning manager stopped by to basically white glove the place and see if I thought they were doing a good job.

Overall there were a couple things here and there that they missed, but given the millions of nooks and crannies in our 2500 sq ft house I think they were very minor. I will also say you'll probably spend a good 20 minutes putting some things back where they were, but think about this: would you rather these ladies (who get paid by the hour) take the time to put everything back and charge you for it, or would you rather do it? That's how I saw it anyway. I was warned that they can't go any higher than they can reach on a 2-step ladder but they ended up reaching everything in my house just fine (keeping in mind we do not have vaulted ceilings or a 2nd story).

I think Home Keepers provides professional service and a very good clean. I felt like I got what I paid for in both this instance and the one before where I was not satisfied. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for someone to help...

We have been using The Home Keepers for quite a while now. They have always done a great job for us. All of their cleaning technicians have been wonderful - very courteous and professional. We have had Mackenzie for the last few months and she is awesome! She is very friendly, professional and does a great job! We highly recommend her!

Update - 9/2/20 - we have continued to use The Home Keepers service and we can't say enough good things about the ladies there! They continue to do an awesome job and are always friendly...
