I give them one star for coming out and Mark was nice to speak with. That's about it. It's July 4th and I am melting because the air no longer works. I told them the aroma I was smelling, smelled like rubber. Instead of checking the breaker to the HVAC, Mark quoted me a price of about $755 for a new blower plus he would clean out the system. Then Mark said another guy was bringing the blower because he did not have one on his truck. The other guy shows up and Mark says oh it's $200 more so the price has gone up to almost $1,000. In the mean time, I ask what the price was to put in a heat pump and he said they couldn't put a heat pump in, that it had to be the same huge type of HVAC system. He quoted a price of about $8000. Then when the other guy had arrived, Mark told me that guy would give me the best price for a new unit. The other guy quoted $11,000. After all that, they discovered the outside breaker was bad. Mark said he would replace it for free. Duh! I said that is where the rubber smell was coming from! He said well that's what happens when the blower goes out. Today I went out and looked, I could see the leaves inside the unit, he did not clean it out. I don't even know if they really replaced the blower or not. I'm a woman and I should have stood there and watched. It is an old unit and I don't sugar coat that at all. However, all the various prices these two guys differed on, was insane, the breaker should have been checked first, and he did not clean it out as he said he would. I try to trust people but I absolutely have been taken! I'll see if their warranty amounts to anything. I have a feeling it doesn't. The first image in the picture is the one they did replace AFTER supposedly installing a new blower. The second image in the picture is the one they left and never bothered to check. DON'T go with them! They also never returned my call after leaving a...

It started working. And i asked him what is it for he didn’t even know. So he done all that for two hours . Read moreI contacted Blankenship Heating and cooling on Monday and a technician came out and diagnosed my problem but I was never told until Tuesday what the issue was. I called again on Tuesday and had Blankenship order the part for the AC unit and I was told it was supposed to be installed the next day by 5:30 pm. No one contacted me at all on Wednesday until I called the technician at 6:30 pm and that is when i was told the wrong part came in and that I would also need the motor as well, but it would not come in until Friday. Before I was told all this on Wednesday the Technician and the office clerk quoted me at $750 on Tuesday. Finally Friday afternoon the technician calls me and says now it is going to cost $1400... I called Blankenship and went back and forth with the Bosses wife on Price because she didn't want to take that big of a cost loss because of poor communication on their end. I waited four days for my unit to be fixed and spent an additional $350 then expected because Blankenship messed up. In total I paid $1100 and waited four days with bare minimum communication of knowing what is going on. If I did not contact them, they would have never contacted me back. I will not be using this...
