I first went to randy (I know that name isn't capitalized, he is not deserving of a capital letter in front of his name) based on a referral from someone who had used his services many years ago. Upon walking in to the small jewelry store I noticed that randy's focus was not specifically designated toward understanding what I wanted to create in a ring. It has been 12 years that I have been with the person who I consider the most important and expect a jewelry store who claims to be an excellent jeweler to be able to provide great customer service as well as understanding. I was instructed that I would receive an AutoCAD showcasing my design. A month had passed and nothing was ever received. I did however receive a phone call from his son stating that the ring I designed was ready for final purchase. After requesting photos I was able to review with complete disbelief. The ring was nothing that I had designed, in fact it was a basket that was simply cut off of one ring and placed on another. If I could include photos in this review I would! Mind you this is a $10k purchase. I then immediately call randy after receiving photos from his son letting him know that this is not what we had spoken about or agreed upon. He then immediately blamed it on the ring specialist who creates the ring. Stating that there was a miscommunication with his instructions that were never passed on to the ring creator. I placed a $500 deposit towards a diamond that was never received and the quality of the diamond was not what was advertised. Bare in mind that when you shop at this location they do not use GIA certified diamonds. A small quote from randy "I don't provide high quality diamonds, I provide the aesthetic looks people look for". I did a little research with a high end diamond specialist who creates the Dallas Cowboys jewelry. I was being charged over $4,600 for a low quality diamond (EGL) where if I decided to actually purchased the same type of diamond as mentioned to randy it would actually cost me $5,300 for (GIA). Now wouldn't someone who is looking for the ring of a lifetime want a diamond that is true to the name and certifiable by a company that is world renowned for their high quality? According to randy it does not matter because he is more interested in charging a high premium for low quality. Not the greatest business model! I kept my cool and notified randy that I wish to retract my deposit, which was securing the diamond in the meantime for me. He then stated that the refund is non-negotiable and cannot be refunded. Now keep in mind in the fine print it does say that in the event that I would have a return I could then use that as an in store credit. I am pretty sure that money is lost and will never be seen again simply based on the lack of communication, care, value, quality and desire to truly care for what his customers are looking for. If there can be any way I could give negative starsin this review I truly would, sadly were only limited to a 1 star. Bare in mind that it is your duty to do your research based on customer feedback and knowledge. I am in high end customer service and can assure you that I would never let something with thousands of dollars on the line happen the way this happened. This is also my first review ever as I am one to not complain, I am usually an "I don't care" kind of person and do not let anything get to me. But when it has to do with the one person I am trying to make mine for a lifetime it is an extremely sensitive matter. I would not recommend even driving by this place let alone walking in to look at his cheap merchandise. He sell EGL quality diamonds for GIA pricing. Check the difference between the two if you aren't knowledgable in the matter. I hope this review helps you make a better decision in your future purchases with a low end company as well as quality. I truly hope randy sees this review and decides to respond because I would love to show you a response that would validate all of the previously stated! My husband and I had previously met Patrick when he appraised some of my mother-in-law’s jewelry a few years ago. We found ourselves seeking Patrick’s help again when the diamond from my engagement ring fell out from its setting and was very much lost.

I really wanted to retain my original setting that was still intact with my baguettes, so Patrick creatively thought of different options for doing so. He respectfully considered our cost figure, the strong sentiment I had attached to my ring, and my desire for the size and shape of a new diamond.

Patrick took the time to explain to us so many different aspects of buying a diamond. He was sincere, knowledgeable, and professional in his discussions with us, and he made a huge impression on us with his honesty, practicality, and trustworthiness.

When my husband and I picked up my ring, the beauty and grace of my ring was way beyond our expectations. It is absolutely exquisite and stunning, and I adore that my original band and baguettes had been reserved. I look at my ring now and I still cannot believe how absolutely breathtaking it is, and that it’s such a stunning gesture of love from my sweet husband. Patrick’s craftsmanship and design was impeccable, and his service left no stone unturned.

It’s an awfully nice feeling when you leave a business and know that the person you worked with was very genuine and respectful of your vision. Since receiving my ring back, I have told many people about Patrick and will continue to do so. Patrick is an exceptional jeweler and I would give him a 10-Star rating if there were more stars!
