Decent, affordable, & safe child care in HEB area.
Pros - very cheap, sweet teachers, safe environment, my toddler seemed to enjoy the school and always wanted to go.
Cons - lots of screen time (the TV was almost always on no matter what time I picked up or dropped off, teachers told me they put the TV on during nap time and my toddler would tell me that he watched movies during the day), very little evidence of anything academic in the 2's class, this center uses time out (most daycare centers do not anymore), and there were a few instances of unprofessionalism when speaking about my child with school staff.
Overall, it is a decent, safe place for children at a very reasonable price. However, expect a lot of screen time and very little age appropriate academic activities. This is ultimately the reason we decided to switch child care...
Read moreBoth of my kids attend Life Fellowship Child Care. This is the second year they attend. My 3 year old loves her teacher and is learning so much. They have a great menu (I have a picky girl, so I do have to pack her lunch occasionally).
