In town for an event and found this opportunity to get some swol on. A super friendly staff awaits you at every turn. First things first. This is a gun-free zone if that's reassuring, so keep your equalizer stored securely in your vehicle. Don't worry. You won't need it. I disappointed myself by not bringing my tangerine Speedo on the trip because their lap pool really is set up nicely. A hidden gem, like the real SR-71 spy plane at the space museum down the street. A must see. A 25yd, multi-laned competition worthy pool with an excellent pace and full wall timing board. Good stuff to know if that's your thing. A children's pool too with a spiral slide and an octopus on the pool's floor. Can't beat that! The weight room was a little dated, but certainly sufficient to get you sore next day. Everyone in the weight room was friendly and courteous, a testament to the city. Good people. A decent handicap ramp for getting into the building. Parking is a bit limited, but there's street parking. A great place to get healthy in the community. Looking forward to a return visit...

One day the rules that have been on the walls for 50 years matter, most days they don't. Now, some of us have some lofty goals for our children, being in shape is one of those things big on my list. I feel that as long as your child is accompanied by yourself and they aren't breaking the rules everything should be fine. Especially for the kids who actually workout and are benefiting from the weight room exercises instead of just the swimming pool or basketball gym. I would love to sign some kind of waiver form that would let my son and I continue...
Read moreHad a great experience at the Y swimming with my grandson yesterday. Small miscommunication as we didn’t realize the slide isn’t always on during open swim if there is only one lifeguard but Charlotte was kind enough to come out and cover for a short time to let him show off his stuff (recently passed his swim lessons there where he had to swim across and back so he can use the slide). Thanks Charlitte and thanks to all the staff for your work with the kiddos. Huge improvement in the swim skill level...
