As we were looking for a place to eat in Hutchinson after going to the museum, I thought I would just look at the cafe within the museum. We like to support local business and so we were so happy to see that this cafe is actually owned by a local couple from Hutchinson. We loved that- supporting a locally owned business!

Bring your ticket in as on the back there is a 10% to be applied to your food bill. We didn't notice it until afterwards but that is okay because the prices are MORE THAN FAIR! Great prices HUGE PORTIONS and SUCH YUMMY FOOD! Also, Senior Citizens get a 10% discount and HCC students, and staff get a 25% discount! WOW! Love the local support!

So, let's talk about how clean this cafe is, how cute it is, and how yummy the food is!

The cafe is spotless, there is indoor and outdoor seating, and it is very well stocked with condiments, utensils, etc. I do wish the garbage can "holes" were a bit bigger to make it easier to dump your trays/platters without spilling on around the garbage bin. But that might just me.

The "trays" the food comes on are so darn cute. They remind you of mini cafeteria trays. The portions are so big. To be honest, I don't know how the owners provide such yummy food with so large of a portion at the prices they ask. If you are in Hutchinson- please support local business and come here for lunch!

Our party got: baked potatoe, 2 club sandwiches, burgers, fries (seasoned), fried pickles, and chili corn dogs. We got so much food and we felt so bad as we were only able to eat about half and because of the hot day we couldn't store the leftovers in our car so we had to throw away. We did feel terrible about that and know for the future to split platters between 2 people the next time we...

Cosmosphere Cafe is a wonderful spot for a relaxed and memorable date. The seating area is spacious and airy, with plenty of comfortable places to sit and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. My girlfriend and I loved how peaceful and inviting it felt, making our time together even more special.

The food is excellent—freshly made pastries that are soft, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each bite was delicious and perfectly balanced in taste. The drinks were also impressive, with flavors that matched our preferences very well, from rich coffee to refreshing iced options.

Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall positive experience. We truly enjoyed our visit and left feeling happy and satisfied. Thank you, Cosmosphere Caffe, for a high-quality and...

I'm still here at the cafe and had to give a review asap since I usually forgot after I get home. The place is a gem! Food is excellent! Friendly service! Good portion sizes! I had the turkey swiss panini. The turkey was not thin lunch meat style; it was thick and tender. Came out warm with cheese nicely melted. My husband has the chili cheeseburger and he was also very happy with his meal. Seasoned fries were also very good. Keep in mind this is a small diner type place, so keep that baseline in mind. If I lived locally, we would make this one of our regular spots for lunch. You don't need a museum ticket to come in, although it is located inside the building....

We got the burger and the southwest salad (with side of fried pickles & a drink). The BEST salad ever. It was large, premixed with a lot of meat, and served with a fresh quesadilla. I like that it was mixed up already for me- made it easier to eat. They really give you a lot of chicken and toppings- not just a bunch of lettuce! The fried pickles were very good as well. My hubby loved the burger.

Off the charts atmosphere and the food was delicious! Portion sizes were as big or bigger than any place I have eaten in years! Cooked fresh and the place was spotless clean! Can’t wait to try it again! The Big Bang Burger was 2 meals in 1! FANTASTIC!!!!!!
