Bought a new smoker for the holidays (old one gave out after 10+ years). Unit came quickly, but unfortunately, had a damaged rack to hold the water pan. Customer service rep Christopher said rather than return the entire smoker, he’d just replace the damaged rack part if that was ok. He got the part shipped out “same day” and saved us the hassle of a re-boxing and trip to UPS! Talk about fantastic service (and a really GREAT attitude as well). Thanks Christopher!!!!!!

I recently purchased an Everest 2X stove manufactured by Camp Chef and sold in my case by Camp Saver. My initial experience with this stove is that I could only get a medium low to low flame out of one of the 20,000 BTU burners and when lighting both burners there was nearly no flame out of each of the 20,000 BTU burners. I communicated my problem to Camp Chef and they sent a new regulator and hose. To make a long story short neither the new regulator or hose made any difference in performance. However, I have used a non-Camp Chef hose that I purchased separately from Alloxity and that hose has worked perfectly with the Camp Chef provided regulator and the Everest 2X stove. This tells me that the hose that Camp Chef is selling is malfunctioning and I suspect that the excess flow valve that is incorporated into the hose connector is for some reason sticking largely shut and greatly retarding the flow of gas into the stove. During the course of my conversations with Camp Chef I was advised that I should only marginally open the valve from the propane tank to ensure that the stove's regulator valve does not activate its excess flow valve and thereby greatly limiting the flow of gas from the propane tank. There is nothing in the stove's operating manual that describes this process--it merely states on page 6 of the manual to: "Open the valve." In any event the issue does lie with the stove's regulator, the problem in my experience stems from a defective hose sold by Camp Chef. If it were not for the problem experienced with the Camp Chef hose I would have given this stove 5 stars, but the problem encountered with the hose was extremely problematic and caused considerable unnecessary inconvenience and...

When I purchased my 36“ WIFI Woodwind Pellet Grill with Sear Box I was hoping that I was purchasing a product that the company would stand behind for more than 1 year. My controller is now malfuncting and I called thinking that the part was under warranty and would be replaced. I ended up having pay out of pocket and being told that the controller was only covered for 1 year, a part that I don't interact with manually all the time. Needless to say my emotions went from disappointment to anger while talking to the Camp Chef representative. Although she was professional, I did get the feeling she did not care how I was going to move forward. I stated I would most likely not be puchasing a future product, and ask that she document in my call notes my fustration. I have now reached out to Recteq as they have a 6 year warranty for all parts. I will be replacing my Camp Chef...
