So I work on base. I do not live on base or near the base. It seems like some base police have an issue with my front window being tinted. I live in the waldorf area and never not one time been pulled over for my windows, it's only when I come here. I feel like they are super press on something that has nothing to do with them. I come to work and leave to go home, I do no business on base, not even the pool or gym. The police that stopped me at the gate said I can park outside of the base and walk to work or have someone pick me up. I informed I was not able to do that do to staffing reasons. He then told me he will write a ticket for $100. I thought I was suppose to get a warning first before an actual ticket. FYI I am not the only one this has happened to. My other coworkers have complained about this same issue...
Read moreWent to the Military Police Department yesterday to file a police report as directed and they never answered the phone. Dialed all the numbers listed at the entrance and they kept forwarding our calls. A soldier helped me make calls. We finally had to dispatch an officer to take report and he was happy to do so; however his rude boss wasn’t happy he did so. They despise of window tint, but all of the neighboring counties don’t enforce it and if they do, by law you have to commit a traffic infraction etc first in order to be reprimanded for tint in this area. I guess some of these guys wish they were county officers...
