Oasis Fresh Foods Market — Local services in Indian Head

I wrote a poor review about a month ago on how I felt I was being watched and stereotyped as I shopped by an employee. The owner politely replied promptly and let me know that was not the practice of the store and apologized for my feeling that way. The owner also invited me to come in and discuss my issue with them. Moving forward, the other day I returned to the store to shop and I was able to meet the owner. She was extremely pleasant and helpful. We discussed the past review which I immediately deleted after she responded. She explained to me that all the employees extend the highest customer services to all the customers, which I definitely witnessed. Also she introduced me to the gentleman I mistakenly accused of the poor customer service. He was very kind and apologetic to me for misunderstanding him. I apologize as well to him and the owner. I realized I took his help the wrong way due to a past negative shopping experience that seemed similar. I want to let everyone know that this store has one of the highest, superior customer services anyone can get. I am glad everything was cleared up. I will continue to shop here because of outstanding service, groceries, food, products and cleanliness. Thank you Oasis for supporting our community. And I will continue to support...

What an asset to our community! I was pleasantly surprised at the selection offered at this beautiful fresh food market. Finally, we can get healthy produce without having to take the time out of our day to drive to another area’s grocery store. The quality of the produce was perfect. My first trip was the soft opening, expecting to go in and buy a little something to show my support. I ended up buying a big bag of Honeycrisp apples and a large bunch of bananas and was amazed that the price was low for nice quality produce. Already it has saved me time and money, the other night I needed an ingredient for dinner that I was missing and everything else I had needed to defrost, instead of ordering out or having to drive somewhere I ran to Oasis grabbed the ingredient and was able to continue to prepare dinner, saving me $20-$30 for a meal out. This is a really nice store. Great location for Indian Head Residents with adequate parking around the back. Staff was friendly. , some of the produce and meats were reasonably priced. However, alot of other essentials were extremely overpriced. $9 for bacon, $7 butter. $7 ice cream, $5 peanut butter just to name a few. And those are non organic chain brand items at these prices such as Oscar Myers. Turkey hill, Skippy. We have alot of seniors in the area. My fear is that it won't be affordable for them and like many establishments in this area; won't stay open long. I wish them the best of luck. Can't wait to see the community garden when...
