ALDI — Local services in Indian Trail

I was ecstatic when this location opened up. Until today when I experienced one of the rudest cashiers of my life Tamarah Nance. She loaded a new cart covering all the surface area of both the top and bottom. As I was relocating my groceries to make space for my two children she asked that I run my Debit card as to not slow the line. I countered has she never shopped with two kids? I did not get an apology so I asked for the manager. I waited for the manager and still got attitude from the cashier that it was my fault for holding up the line. Guess what, I been to other locations where the cashier waits for you to pull around your cart with your kids so you don't have to reload everything. All I got was rudeness and a manager apology. We've grown so accustomed to shopping at another nearby grocery store just because it's a little easier to get to with all the wonderful U-turns and whatnot but today we went a little out of the way and stopped by Aldi. Wow, I can't believe how much money we saved and of course I grabbed a ton of the great store brand products that are only available at Aldi. Everything was in stock and I'll bet we saw at least 4 employees actively restocking items as we shopped. I was a little caught off guard with the new (to us) self check-out but surprisingly, it went very smoothly. I'm sure we'll make more out of the way trips to Aldi to spend WAY less than we would have at the other store that saves us 3 or 4 minutes getting to. First and last time. Didn't have a coin to pay for my buggy rental. Store was a mess, trash all over the floors. Lady almost ran me over trying to fit a pallet down a narrow aisle. Only one cashier so the check out line was long. Then I have to bag my own groceries which is fine except no body said you have to bring your own bags. Oh and the cashier was very rude about where to take my groceries and put them in the box they rented me to get my groceries to my car. So needless to say I will shop at a traditional grocery store from now own. I don't mind paying a little more for a little service, and honestly better quality products. Not impressed by Aldi brands.
