Harris Teeter Distribution Center — Local services in Indian Trail

Not a bad system here. Came in 2hrs early with a dry load. They gave me a door right away and had me unloaded within 1 hour. Paperwork takes a min. They have to check the stuff in. Only odd thing was giving me a green light at the dock after unloading and according to their instruction sheet that means you're empty and paperwork is in the trailer. My light went green I pulled forward No paperwork. Thought I misunderstood and went to the window where I was completely ignored for maby 10min. When I knocked on the glass, there's no sign or anything to tell you how to get an office full of people's attention even tho they see you standing there, the guy came and said they were waiting on the paperwork. Mentioned that I had a greenlight and the instruction sheet and he said they shouldn't have given me the green yet? This is not a bad place to unload but instructing drivers to wait a few min after the green light and then pull forward is kinda iffy when you have capstone turning on the green before the paperwork is in the trailer. This is gonna end badly eventually when someone steps into the trailer while a driver pulls out thinking they're good to go. Not a huge fan of lumpers and their ridiculous prices but I'm not trying to accidently drag one off the dock because of a bad procedure. Other than that, I'd deliver here again they were efficient...

2nd or 3rd time here.overall would have gotten a five .today changed that.goods allows you arrive early and parking. Check in is always smooth.average stay for me so far around 2 hours. Turning point.great cafeteria and great prices.had breakfast first time here.TODAY WENT INTO RESTROOM FIRST WASH MY HANDS AND CLEAN UP.PAST A GUY IN HALLWAY AS GOING TO RR.LOOK AT ME LIKE I KILKED SOMEONE.WENT TO REST ROOM SAME GUY THAT JUST LEFT CAME AND STRAYED WASHING HIS HANDS.TRY TO JGNORE HIM WENT TO BREAKFAST GOT FRIDAY SPECIAL A COFFEE AND A CHOCALATE MILK.AS I SAID BEFORE GREAT PRICES GAVE LADY A 20 AND GOT BACK CHANGE DIDN'T BOTGER EVEN CKUNTUNG IT.GIT MY MIKK AND COFFEE SRRATED EATING AND THE LADY THAT SERVE ME KEPT STARING AT ME.THE LADY THAT RING ME UP CAME BACK UP TO CASH REGISTER AND TOLD ME SHE DIDN'T RING MY MILK UP. I TOLD HER THAT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT I DIDN'T EVEN GET A RECEIOT.BY THIS TIME AFTER ALL THE STAING I Started feeling that maybe theese PEOPLE don't want truckers on this floor .Got lay for my milk by this time nothing was going to taste good the lady than brought my money for the milk back to the table.i finish what I could coffee was cold now Got up and left the money on the table.I am like anyone else do t beat around the bush if you don't line me or just that I am in the wrong place just tell me.as I said before WOUDNT...

I've been coming here for several weeks and up until this week it's taking 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours to unload a partial load this week 2 and 1/2 hours into sitting at the doc. They still haven't started unloading. Normally. I'm in a dock an hour before my appointment time this morning. I didn't get a dock until my appointment time. I had two bags of straps( 30 straps) in my trailer the last time I was here and they disappeared and nobody knows what happened to them. It's not like they can sprout legs and walk off. That's $1,000 worth of straps that had to be replaced. The only reason I keep coming back here is because this is turned into a dedicated run. However, I'm rethinking that because I get aggravated every time I come here and I keep thinking that maybe it will get better. But it has not. About the only good things I can say about this place is they do have overnight parking and they do allow you to leave your trailer, after you have unloaded, if you want to go do some shopping and come back and get it later and the security staff that checks you in at night is very very nice. It would also be nice if somebody would actually read these reviews at HT, but as you can see, nobody has responded to any of the reviews...
