Family Dollar — Local services in Indianapolis

The store was about to close when I got there....yet this young man was in the front yet i had to get a few things and I couldn't find them....there wasn't anyone there so instead of rushing me...he was soo very nice and pleasant and extremely helpful.and as he showed me what a came for, he was still picking things up and straightening....I had been in an accident and I had 3 broken ribs and I had a time walking....HE WAS THE BEST PART OF GOING THERE...VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ABOVE ALL COURTEOUS..THANKYOU FAMILY DOLLAR FOR HIM..ITS BEEN QUITE SOMETIME SINCE I WAS THERE BUT, I CALLED A FEW DAYS LATER AND TOLD MY STORY..I SURE HOPE YOU STILL HAVE HIM....I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF he managed the place now...sorry forgot his name...

I need diapers because i didnt realize I pulled the last one. So I take a trip to my nearest family dollar to get quick pack of diapers so I thought. I go to go in store and see orange signs on window saying no cash. How in the world do yiu not take cash. I really need an explanation because i really cam not wrap my head around who dont take cash. If you can process a card how can you not take cash???? Do they not know how to count back money or rwally what is going on. Not everybody wants to use cash or only has cash. How does a business profit not...

This store is a staple of this community. Great merchandise at incredible prices. I'm sooo glad they sell food too. I support them whenever possible not because I'm on a fixed income or receive government assistance because I'm neither. I make a great salary. I shop there because when all the money hungry businesses that exploit the dollars of the low income citizens decide to locate themselves in Carmel, Fishers, Nobelsville, and Westfield, they chose to serve the underprivileged areas of the city without exploitation.
