Usually when I’m in Indianapolis, this is one of the places I like to frequent being retired (Navy), a lot of changes have been made since I last visited back in October 2023, the exchange no longer offers anything, it has become more a package store selling liquor and cigarettes now, which I found out later it was due to the 87% of sales came from that 🤦🏽♂️, the barber shop is still in operation as well as the nice gift shop. Commissary is still in operation as normal. Would like to see it return back to what it once was, but offer more for other services and not just the Army. Woman who now operates the location is a terrible seamstress. Multiple uniforms with poor sewing done. This includes missing stitching, misaligned name tapes and ranks, as well as inaccurate centering. You pay a premium to have your military apparel in top form. She ultimately makes you look like a first private with the horrible sewing working. And you wait 3-5 weeks for the "work" to be complete. Come to find out they are downsizing the whole thing into a shop that only sells alcohol and tobacco.
