Los Nitidos Barber Shop — Local services in Indianapolis

I have been to multiple different barber shops in the past. I never thought that I would write a bad review like this one. In all honesty, this was one of the worst haircuts I have had in my entire life. Before heading to the store, I called to inquire about the price for a simple haircut. I was told that it would be 20 dollars. However, at the end they were only accepting cash and the barber (David) told me that it would be 25 dollars. I kept quiet as I did not really want to argue and paid the price. Now getting back to the terrible haircut... I swear that I would have done a better job if I just used my own shaver and did this in front of the mirror bluntly. After he was done cutting my hair, I was in shock as I had multiple areas of uneven spots and my hair was looking like someone just used it as a training ground. It just looked horrible, way shorter than I requested and it was cut with no skills at all. Immediately after the haircut, I came home and cut my own hair with my own machine. The funniest and maybe the saddest part was that the barber told me that my hair looked amazing at the end. He performed a terrible haircut despite the fact that I emphasized how important this haircut is for me. I told him that I work in a professional business place and I need to look representable. I don't think he cared about what I said. I don't even know if he really cared about how I looked. I will never go back again and I hope that I will never have to write a review like this...

Went in as i am looking for a new barber, had a meeting at 730 that day and I had heard good things about them. I got there at 2pm and was not in the chair until 4 and done at 530. I asked him for a mid bald fade and even showed him a picture of myself for reference as I am picky but always give a good tip. He starts and finally turns so I face the mirror and he tells me “I gave you a drop fade instead because I think it looks better” after sitting there for 40 minutes and still have to go home shower and change I’m like okay whatever. He still has to do my beard which came out fine. I got done but he didn’t even fade it in right. You can see all the guide lines and where he left patches of uncut hair. That’s probably the worst hair cut I’ve gotten from a “barber shop”. I’d understand if it was a salon or a Great clips type of shop. So in all I got a horrible haircut and not even what I asked for. I would not recommend going here if you’re expecting a good fade or are used to quality...

Location inside is nice. Downside is minimal parking or parking signage. Asked Barber Chewy for a line up and taper of the back only. He draped me & reiterated to me back only taper & line up. He began my cut with removing my sideburns completely. These are my results. He didn’t ask before cutting my sideburns off and giving me a masculine cut & line up. Very dissatisfied with my service today. I informed him once I was done & he handed me the mirror, that he should ask customers especially females beforehand if they want sideburns removed when they ask for service to the back of their head only. He also sprayed me with what I assume is an alcohol & cologne mixture at the end of my service, which I didn’t appreciate due to the strong masculine scent that’s now on my clothes and skin. On a plus the other barbers in the shop appeared to be doing good quality work & the atmosphere...
