NAIL R US II — Local services in Indianapolis

To start off I want to say that the lady that did my nails was very nice!…. I went to this place because it was close to my job and convenient and the pictures that I’ve seen on google of other people nails were amazing! But when I walked in I told the lady I wanted a full set she then asked what shape and I said coffin. She said she can’t do coffin so I paused and laughed it off thinking she was kidding but nope, she was serious. I then asked her what shape does she do? She said “square and pointy “… so I paused again thinking what she meant by pointy. So I said “you can do stiletto shape” she said no then she had to pause and think again. She then changed it to square and oval.. but the way she said it I don’t think she knew the other shape so I just went with square. So once I sat in the chair she asked about the length so I told her medium. She then told me she doesn’t do long. So I asked her to show me what long looks to her. Then she demonstrates what length she can do, which was short. I did not like the short. then I asked if she could please go longer. She said she can’t and that she would have to charge extra for anything longer. Again, I paused in confusion because I have no problem paying extra for length since that’s what I want and always get. And I was just confused how she said she can’t do longer. But I brushed that off and asked her if she can do ombré… again, she said she can’t and she only does one color. Ok wow fine I finally told her to do what she can do with square and medium short nails. Once she was done my nails look like duck feet nails. I didn’t like them… I paid $60. I won’t be going back. They only know how to do the very basic things when doing a full set. Which that’s fine but isn’t for me. When I got home that day, I took out my own nail kit and shaped them myself, drilled the color off and did a different color. The pictures on google are not up to...

So the first time the older guy was shaking doing my toes and I felt sorry for him ☹️look like he was in pain - So the younger lady put a lil flower on my nails - & she gave me an invite to come back to her - So today I did come back to get a New set of acrylic nails- The young lady would not file/curve my nails For nothing- I said PLENTY OF TIMES I LIKE THE NATURAL LOOK like the picture right there in her face with the French Manicure -she kept (Square SHAPE ONLY) & my skin is stuck to the nails & in pain, she stated she like this shape - NICE people but older guy needs to retire -& she needs MORE TRAINING on Shaping &...

I paid $80 (including $5 tip) for a mani pedi gel. Paid $5 extra just to have the smell good lotion rubbed on my legs 😒. I was their last customer of the day but the two girls were real nice. But NOT EVEN 24 HOURS LATER two of my nails chipped and my thumb chipped and snagged my shirt ripping off the whole front part of the polish... I've called and received no answer and when I stopped by go figure they are closed for 10 days due to a family emergency. So Im basically screwed. I really hoped I could make them my new shop as its closer but nah, I'll keep...
