Empress Organics — Local services in Inglewood

Please don't let your package get lost or delivered to the wrong address. My package said it was delivered at around 1:18pm. I immediately checked my mailbox and leasing office. It was not there. I proceeded to contact Empress Organics, which I was told I needed to contact USPS because on their end it said delivered. I was already turned off then because whoever the rep was showed no concern that I didn't receive my package. I then opened up an investigation with USPS. They investigated for 1 week, and then told me to dispute the charges with my bank because they could not locate the package. I sent one more email to Empress Organics, prior to opening an investigation, stating that I still haven't received the package and I was opening an investigation. I received a response saying there was nothing she could do because it showed delivered on their end. After I disputed the charges she sends an email stating how I was such a liar and mail theft is fraud. I was so disgusted after that. The product that I purchased was only $16. I have no reason to steal $16 worth of product. I shop on Amazon all the time. If have any issues (which is rare) they will look into it, and take care of it. Whoever runs/owns Empress Organics needs a refresher course on Business Management because this is a sure way to lose...

Wow, this place was right in my backyard! The store is absolutely beautiful, smells amazing, and has such a peaceful ambiance. The associate I interacted with had a sweet, chill vibe that was incredibly calming—I almost felt like I needed to whisper, like in a library, to match the energy of the space.

The bulk herbs are displayed in individual containers in both whole and powdered form, and they also offer their own specialty blends categorized by ailment or need. In the center of the store, you’ll find crystals, smudge sticks, and incense—so much to take in! The associate also let me know they offer consultations and yoni steaming, and they provided me with informational cards about their services.

I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to go toward the back near the yoni steaming room (which was beautifully decorated, by the way), but it looked like there might have been a wall of essential oils or fragrances as well. And to top it all off, they are Black-owned and operated!

I’m deeply disappointed with the customer service I received at this business. I’ve patronized them twice for a Toni steam and had a great first experience—so much so that I brought family along for my second visit, excited to share what I thought would be another relaxing and positive experience.

Unfortunately, things took a turn when there was an issue with their system. The owner left multiple voicemails for every guest in my party, accusing us of not paying. This was not only embarrassing but completely unwarranted. I provided clear proof of payment, showing that the full bill had been paid by one person.

Despite this, the owner never offered an apology for the false accusations. Instead, she blamed her assistant and the system error, rather than taking accountability for not verifying the payment properly before reaching out to us. The situation was handled unprofessionally, and the lack of responsibility and basic courtesy was disappointing.
