I've lived at the Heights for about 6 months now, and truly only have positive things to say about living here. I've rented all my adult life and this has been the best experience by far. The staff are friendly and attentive and all of my maintenance needs have always been addressed promptly (thank you, Don!). The area is quiet, the neighbors are friendly, and homes are pet friendly with enclosed yards (which is such a game changer from apartment living). Having my own address/mailbox/driveway is great too--you don't have to worry about access codes in a huge mailroom that never seem to work right. It's also convenient to bring your groceries or shopping right into your home from the driveway, rather than lugging it into a complex, up an elevator, down the hall, etc. I love that I have an entire home, but don't have to worry about yard maintenance and still get the perks of amenities that usually only come with apartments (such as the pool, clubhouse, pet spa, and gym). I was a little hesitant about the Smartlock/keyless access, but I actually love it and find it to be so much more convenient (I tend to lose my keys a lot...) I feel safe here and enjoy walking around the development. There is also a new Publix and Starbucks down the road, which is great. It's close to the highway and easy to get anywhere from here. It is pricey, but I personally feel the cost is justified given all the positives. Overall, I highly recommend Fairin and living here at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is an honest review, the others are mostly positive due to the fact they are advertising a 250$ gift card to Publix giveaway . So others are kind of bias , but moving on . Hereās is a pros and cons list
Pros: Publix across the road Left alone by management mostly Maintenance is always taken care of with a sense of urgency Close to the interstate Well built homes
Cons No side walks in front of the houses to walk dogs or take walks Horribly priced houses Small back yards and the larger yards are terrible over priced Cheap appliances in the kitchen ( at least for the rent they want )
Largest Con overall
RENT These houses are horribly overpriced, you can find better for sure which is why I donāt recommend them . The rent also increased after our first year , pretty ridiculous to be honest since theyāre already asking more for which the houses are worth . They charge Vestavia / Mtn Brook prices for these homes . The appliances inside , & just the overall materials used to build the homes are extremely cheap .
In conclusion , if you can afford it and absolutely need to stay in this area itās fine for what it is . But if you donāt have to then Iād definitely recommend against it . They need better appliances in the houses or cheaper rent . Both if...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe've lived at The Heights for a year now and we have loved every second of everyday. From the hospitality of the front desk to Don fixing some stuff in our home we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The intentionality of each monthly event has been awesome to be a part of. The safety of the gated community at night has been a game changer. Getting a cup of coffee, going to the pool, having a quiet work place or getting a workout in, are a few steps away for us. One story to raise awareness of the extra mile the staff will go for their tenants is back in October we had our first born and while at the hospital the Pumpkin Patch event took place. When we got home from the hospital there were two pumpkins neatly place outside our door. We love The Heights and recommend anyone who is looking for a home to take a tour and experience the goodness...
