East West Gem Co. — Local services in Irvine

My husband and I upgraded my engagement ring with East West Gem Co about 7 months ago and the experience was absolutely incredible.  I booked a virtual showing at their OC office and we ended up working with Tinsley who was so knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. We fully customized my ring and during the showing we also explored different settings, styles and facet options. I also really appreciate her guidance in helping me select the bandwidth for my ring since my stone is fairly large. I wanted it thin but balanced without effecting its structural integrity. 

Okay, here’s what I loved so much about this experience. East West Gem Co has the best communication process. They are super transparent and keep you informed every step of the way so that you know what to expect at each stage of your ring’s production. You can even watch your ring’s progress by creating an account on their website. About two weeks after placing our order, we approved a CAD rendering of my ring’s setting and about four weeks after that they sent me my stone for approval and final production.  

The whole process took about 8 weeks and we are so happy with how my ring came out. We are so glad that we trusted East West Gem Co with designing the ring.

I've IG stalked this company because their rings are all absolutely gorgeous. Of course I wanted one for myself. Was it the easiest getting an appointment that fit my schedule? No, but the wait was worth it. On 6/23/2021, I booked 9/11/2021 at 1pm since I couldn't make any other weekday appointments due to my work schedule and other commitments.

Came in on 9/11, and all the stones were beautiful. Bekka and Sydney were both great and extremely helpful with all of my questions. I like my stones bigger lol and gravitated towards the ovals and anything that would elongate my finger. I tried on so many because everything looked amazing. I used their magic mirror to ultimately make my decision for the stone.

They have a strict timeline for making their rings and use the company downstairs, La Vita Vital, to complete their process. We wouldn't have made it with our wedding being so soon, so they recommended we venture down to La Vita Vital to see what they could do. Best decision ever! I purchased the stone I chose right when we got downstairs, and La Vita Vital told us they could make what we wanted happen. We even got our rings fully custom made way before our wedding date.

I had an appointment this past Saturday. And I have to say, I was SO impressed by everything!

I was helped by Brenna (owner) and Kathryn (East Coast associate), both were wonderful, welcoming and most of all PREPARED. Once we entered the showroom, many different loose stones and rings were waiting for me. The showing lasted about an hour. Lots of conversation about even the most minute details that I had overlooked (stone ratio, band width, cathedral or not) and a tour of their manufacturing facility. They provided so much knowledge and insight; it helped me feel very comfortable about the process. Not once did I feel I was being led astray or fed "convenient information". But in all honesty, about 20-30 mins in, they helped me find the stone that caught my eye.

I knew it was the stone I would feel proud to propose with! I could distinguish it from all the rest! So I went with it!

My future sister-in-law couldn't make the showing but that was not an issue! They provide an email with all details from my showing, including notes, photos, and videos. Jen (another employee) served as a hand model for the rings and all those pictures and videos were included as well.
