I've been a loyal shopper ag this location for about 4 or 5 years. The majority of the workers are so sweet and helpful and go out of their way to assist you when needed. I usually try to get my shopping done in the mornings after dropping my kids off to avoid the crowd. I just left and I've had the worst experience with a cashier named Teena ! She got an attitude simple because I pointed out a clearance teams I had and one wasn't marked correctly. She then said she needed to call a manager even tho one of the big cups clearly already had the clearance price and she could've just rung up the other item according to the price on the cup. She then said she didn't want to ring me up at all which was absolutely shocking. She then said I could take my items to the next line and I then told her to call the manager. The manager Moses walked up along with the front in manager Sean who I've always had a good experience with. Sean did ring me up and when I asked why she was refusing to ring me up he said he didn't know and just shock his head like it wasn't the first time he's had to deal with an issue because of her. The manager, Moses just walked of and didn't even attempt to see what the issue was from my prospective so I had them to call him back over so I could explain exactly what happened. It's not the first time I've noticed her treat black and brown customers differently and I def should have spoken up before. I'll def be going back to shopping in the morning because the AM crew is much nicer. I will also be reaching out...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. Not only felt disrespected and offended by an attitude from the cashier when checking out with two kids, but she also got super close to my face kid and yelled at her. The initial encounter when loading every item was disrupted by my kid (2 year old), when she cried . The lady scanning everything initially unwelcome us with a disgusting face towards my kid when she cried. We had several items to not scan and gave me attitude when asking if I had more ? Because she had already called the people to get them , this was before waiting until the very end. That put me in an uncomfortable situation . But I let it go. Things got worst when my oldest kid grabbed the machine to scan one of the items, she yelled towards us to give that back and waited for my kid to returned it. When she was close to her, she put her face very close to my kid and yelled “YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR THIS”!!. At the end of scanning and ready to Pay I even thank her for her patience. She then said : I DONT!!! Claiming that my kid snatched a chocolate from her when she didn’t. And then I even apologize to her and she said thank you “ with an attitude. My husband had to go back to talk with a store manager, since this is not the first time I encounter a situation where I felt disrespected and emotionally attacked. The lady ( I know her name but I’m not going to defame her ) called to apologize later after my husband talked to someone in there. Even if it’s a long ride I’d rather go to another store before...
Read moreI just visited the neighborhood Kroger near me which is the store which I like going to because it’s a neighborhood store and I like to support my neighborhood stores. I went to the machine to check out and all I had was coins. I proceeded to put my coins in but when it came to a 50 Cent peace, the machine couldn’t take it. The head cashier woman came to me and asked me if I had another form of payment. Since when has US cash lost credibility? She had to call a manager to find out what she should do in order to help me continue the process using my 50 Cent pieces. What are they teaching these people that a head cashier has this type of job and can’t recognize coin values? I wasn’t going to leave this review but I change my mind. People are in different stages of their lives and we all should be treated well but we shouldn’t be treated as if we’re ignorant. This could’ve been handled better if they had somebody that had an understanding of legal tender for the United States. They’re only a select few coins that the United States even prints and the ones that are out of the ordinary are $.50 pieces and dollar coins. They are still US legal tender. I do not understand why they are not trees as such when the machine is the one that gave me those coins in the...
