6th Street Donut — Restaurant in Irving

My family would always buy donuts from here, even up to this day, since I was 8 years old. But today I went to go buy a dozen of Sugar/Glazed paid $13 for it, one of the employees who was taking my order, a Hispanic chubby lady, she was very nice at the beginning but she did not hear me right when I said my order and gave me Chocolate/glazed. When I got my order I checked it and I told her about it and she gave me an attitude and decided to go back and fort with me saying I said chocolate when I said Sugar, and she rolled her eyes and said she would change it but I would have to pay $5 more. Basically making it $18 for a dozen of simple donuts. Once I asked her it would be $18 she proceed to say yes and the other employee looks at her and tells her it’s just $13 and I heard her say that, I looked at the First Lady and she tells me “It’s okay like that, don’t worry I got it”, basically trying to make it seem like she would put those “extra $5”. I usually come to this place for convience since it is close to my house. Food quality has always been okay. Service has always bene so and so. The girls are always gossiping with each other and not attentive of their customer service. I have complaints for the first time. They didn’t have chocolate donuts so I replaced it with a glazed donut. The donut did not look or taste fresh. Same complaint with the pig in the blankets poorly done and did not taste fresh. For the 1.55 a pig blanket I might as well make them fresh myself if the qualify will be better. Once again the customer service was not good. I bought a half dozen glazed and half dozen chocolate. Also the sausage croissant roles (5) and and egg ham and cheese croissant sandwich. It was 5:00 am. Just getting off of work went home ate the sandwich and a doughnut went to bed woke up 10 AM ate some of the sausage croissants and another couple donuts by 7 PM that night I was throwing up everything had the worst stomach pain, diarrhea like I was very sick from 7 PM until, the next day I was violently ill and ended up in the hospital with food poisoning and this was the only place that I had eaten at in two days if I could give it, no...
