Isabela Beach Court — Local services in Isabela

I loved staying here, but there were some annoyances/inconveniences. Our power went out twice (for several hours) during our week. 90+ degrees with no A.C. or fan is not fun. Also, the security guards can be a bit slow at operating the gates. Expect anywhere from 15 seconds to 2 minutes every time you return to the complex. Finally, the dumpsters were very far from our unit. We had 4 adults 5 kids in our unit so, multiple trips to the dumpster each day was a pain.

These things aside, the location was incredible and earns this 4 stars. The local food kiosks were cheap and delicious! Awesome drinks! The weekend nightlife was great and felt like a true local Puerto Rican experience. Meanwhile the weekdays were quiet and peaceful. The local beaches were so amazing for our young kids. Multiple tide pools as you head west along the coast, starting just 1km away! They were breathtaking and full of fish. Just watch out...

Some Tips before you stay here and anywhere in PR. Most of these places do not have Glass Windows, believe it or not. Just metal shudders that let in a ton of noise. So do not plan on any naps during the weekend unless you have earplugs, and even then.

They also let in hot air. 400k condos without windows. LOL

There is a park next door that plays music until 11 PM on the weekends, so loud you will not be able to watch TV. I am not kidding. Also party buses that honk train horns. Not peaceful at all.

So before you book, ask if they have glass windows. Then ask if there are chickens or dogs nearby and loud music. You have not lived until you get woken up at 3:30 AM because roosters are crowing non-stop, which in turn gets dogs...

This is an older complex but kept up pretty well. Its proximity to the beach makes it desirable. Keep in mind most of this beach is not swimmable except for a small section that can get crowded but still enjoyable.

During our stay we noticed the elevators were not working at multiple buildings including ours. Luckily, we stayed on the first floor so we had no need for it.
