This is the worst restaurant I have been to in Puerto Rico. I was initially very excited to visit because the place is gorgeous, but left after trying the appetizers due to the poor quality of the food and overall customer experience. The 2 appetizers were: Bacalaitos and Soup of the day (Creme of Viandas). The bacalaitos were stale and bland, hot on the outside and cold on the inside. We had a bite and quickly decided to send them back. The soup tasted like garlic creme and was also on the cooler side. When I kindly asked for the check, the cook came to the table, not to apologize, but to tell me that she had to charge for everything because the owner did not approve a refund for the bacalaitos we sent back. I normally hesitate to leave such a negative review because the customer experience at times makes up for the miss. Today, particularly, I was perplexed in the way the restaurant reacted to my complaint and made NO effort to apologize for the lack of quality in their food. I ended up paying for the items in totality and left the plates completely full at the table. It truly was a...

We waited close to 2 hours for our food. The place was not full. When we asked the waiter what was taking so long his response was “that is is a fresh food restaurant and not a fast food restaurant”. We all left he came after us and said our food was ready so we came back inside because we were starving and waited another 20 minutes. In all my travel over the years I’ve never waited close to 2 hours for dinner in place that was half empty.

Not only that, another group that had been here before us got up angrily with his family and said “this is the second time I come here and I still didn’t get my food” and proceeded to pay for his drinks. That was a family of 4. Another group came up and said “is our food almost done? It’s almost time for us to go..” literally as I type only our appetizers are done in a bag. They said yea takes five minutes to drop in the chicken but told another in our group that our food is coming out now. NEVER AGAIN....

Decided to come here after driving by several times and thought it looked super cute and welcoming. The atmosphere was very nice but everything else was really not good at all. Pina colada was made from a cheap mix, and im not sure they even bothered putting rum in it. They were out of hamburgers, so 3 out of 4 of our party ordered chicharonnes de pollo (chicken strips). They are simply chunks of dark meat battered and fried, which a couple of us didn't mind, but the other two didn't like them at all. Also ordered a pinion turnover for an appetizer that arrived well after our entrees. It was absolutely rancid! I dont know if it was the meat or the frying oil, but it made me gag. Not only did we have to ask several times for condiments, the server never once asked us how the food was nor did they say anything when they picked up two entrees and an appitizer that hadnt been touched at all. Very dissapointing and a waste of...

I wanted to support our local businesses, but ended up very disappointed with the food here. We ordered the mofongo con masitas de pollo, alcapurrias al revés y pastelillos de piñón. The mofongo had zero flavor, no garlic, no seasoning, it was very bland, and the masitas de pollo had zero crunch. The alcapurrias al revés were hard inside, there was nothing special about them, I rather have a stuffed alcapurria. The pastelillos de piñón, had no yellow plantain on them, so I could not taste the "piñón" part of it. The place is beautiful, but the food is not great. If this restaurant is to make it here in Isabela, there needs to be more flavor on the food. Plus, I had to wait extra to get the bill, ended up standing up and paying at the register. Please listen to customer's feedback. There is room for improvement.

Beautiful old house in the middle of the Isabela Pueblo. Our experience was not good we have to wait 2 hour for an appetizers and we noticed that one other table was waiting to. We are going to give to this place another chance. Just because we noticed that they were short of staff and they was tryouts to do the best that they could do. But I just want to give a recommendation to La Casita Isabela managers to be honest with the client there was a table with kid waiting for food and they always was saying the food is coming in 5 min. In the good note the bartender is a kipper we ask for a Moscow Mule and it was the best Moscow Mule we have in this trip. He was very attentive and helpful.
