Well, I just want to say that I cannot say enough. But I donât see how I can. But I hope you get what Robbys has to offer. My name is Bernie and we rented a boat yesterday from Islamorada Florida Keys boat rental âRobbiesâ⌠Renting the boat was very easy online and we got there about 40 minutes early. Jesse, who was our staging man Was beyond great to set us up and give us true direction. It was kind of like a 10 or 15 â minutes school class the way he explained the operations of the boat and good fishing spots.
The boat was very clean and very fast stable and plenty of room to fish off of and to truly enjoy the waters of Islamorada. The places he pointed us to on the GPS map worked perfect and we caught a lot of fish!
There were directional lines on the GPS map that you followed because he did not want us to get into a shallow area. And this will give you so much confidence that you wonât believe it. If you are thinking of renting a boat in Islamorada, then this is the place you want to go. It is tucked inside a really fun almost âVillageâ like atmosphere. Almost like an old school little âtownâ that a lot of Florida has lost over the years⌠Where there were lots of craft vendors, and you could buy T-shirts and a lot of stuff that will bring you through memories of your trip that will last a lifetime.
So get there early or hang around afterwords. And you will have a blast and feeling of the the incredible âVibeâ of what Robbys boat rental area offers.
I hope you get âJesseâ because he is a true class act. I come down to the Florida Keys once in a while with some buddies of mine and Robbieâs boat rental turned out to be a beautiful little gem. Old school Florida in the Keys is alive and well at âRobbysâ and I would suggest that donât go anywhere else. Trust me....
Read moreDo not rent from this company! Was supposed to rent for three days with two to start and then I had to bring back for one day and pick up again the next. we turned the boat in early on the day it was due. Cleaned out all trash etc. At no time we we told to scrub the boat clean. Not during orientation when we first rented or when we brought the boat back after 2nd day. I certainly would have if shown where a hose was and a brush(didn't pack one in my suitcase!) I would also assume that besides getting all personal items out and trash, that $400 a day would include them cleaning
I get a text from owner(who I never met) to tell me that there was fish blood on boat, it was unacceptable and would not rent for the third day. We were shocked and our kids were very disappointed. It was a small amount of blood.
Boat was in horrible condition fyi. Metal pieces coming out of cushions and steering wheel. Ladder was about to fall off
Anyway, we found another rental company(A1A). So much more professional, better boats, staff, and when we turned in boat we were sure to ask if we needed to wash it down, They were confused we would even ask, that is part of their...
Read moreThe tour consists of up to five wave runners. My 20-year-old niece and I who are very experienced on wave runners had two other wave runners with people who had zero experience One of them, fully capsized with a five-year-old child with him on his WaveRunner, before we even got out on the tour. The other waverunner, also with zero experience, at times stopping or went less than 10 miles an hour in the open water this was problematic, not just for us, but for our guide who was very frustrated with the two newbies. They require you to stay 100 yards away from the person in front of you, so the order went- our guide with the newbies in position one and two each 100 yards apart then my niece and I , due to the person in front of my niece who is at times 300 yards behind the ski in front of her, and 300 yards behind the person they were in front of, at times the tour guide was completely out of sight. I would suggest offering tours where people could sign up as beginner, intermediate, and expert. To assure that everyone was grouped appropriately. it was almost $500 for my niece and I , each with our own ski, to take this tour and it was a bit...
