SKECHERS Factory Outlet — Local services in Jackson Township

This store has usually been ok, not great service but not terrible. Stock is hit and miss like most outlet shopping tends to be. However, this location was having people stand in line outside, which isn't an issue itself given the current situation. My issue with this is that there was no obvious indicator of this policy. There were several signs on the door, same color and font, must had the same 'wear a mask' etc like everywhere has now, then another one, that did nothing to stand out at all, said they were limiting the number of people in the store. That's it. Almost every other store in the mall, if they had this policy, and most didn't, had very obvious and eye catching signs that made it clear you might have to wait in line outside. After entering the store, we were directed back outside by an employee, and we were surprised but had no initial issue with this. Then we watched several more people go inside and be directed back out as well. So it clearly wasn't just us, and again, most stores let you right in with the assumption of wearing masks and social distancing. It was at this point we walked away, as did every other person the employee sent back out. It isn't the policy we took issue with, but the lack of clear notification, and I'm sure plenty of would be customers...

I came on a Sunday Nov. 13 (remember Nov. 13) and noticed a sign they had up inside their store, facing the windows. It stated buy a $100 gift card for $80. Ok, thats a good deal, I'll take it. When I asked about it at the cashier, once I gathered my shoes, the cashier wasn't aware of it. The manager came out and said their computer can't apply it. Well, why is the sign up about it? This is false advertisement!! It shouldn't be shown to customers it if isn't ready. The cashier didn't know what to respond to me about it either. When I tried to use a discount code that expires November 13, the cashier said " it's Nov. 13 today so it's expired." ..... in reality the coupon should be applicable for the whole day of November 13, I had to show my email it works until 11:59pm of November 13. Aside from false advertisement, the store lies about discount codes usage? Trying to buy 2 pairs of shoes that were the same model except different colors, there's about a $10+ pink color surcharge on items 🙃. That's absurd! I ended up buying another color that was still not the same price as the non pink shoe. After leaving the store, the whole experience left a bad taste in...

Had the best experience here Saturday just before coloring. The gal working there seemed to be there by herself but provided very helpful and friendly service to all of us in the store. She was very patient and made sure everyone was attended to and had their needs met and questions answered. She was bilingual as well. More importantly, she was able to locate the sneaker I had been looking for for a few weeks (went to 3 deferent stores and had been checking online) and in my size. She made it such a pleasant shopping experience for us all. This employee needs a raise! And what a difference vs the East Windsor Outlet where many of the staff have redo attitudes and could care less about helping customers despite their being very few people...
